Might have been better to hold off for Murphy or Thompson however Im optimistic for the rest of Dals season.. It's not about his average earlier in the season.. Is about his average from now on! Although I DO keep saying that every week :S

well dal didnt go much better did he :S

2333 for the round.. lost two games against the highest scores in the league for the round which hurt but other than that it was painless!

great games from ablett, pav and beamsy
scotland, pendlebury, danger and zorks were very good and priddis and shaw were handy
the saints killed me in goddard, dal santo and saad. boyd, selwood and chapman were also below their best..

J welcome though.

Season building with trades at a premium and resting about to begin.

2012's only saving grace could well be the result of the socialisation of the AFL - the salary cap!

Has made the competition tighter with meaningful matches taking place a lot longer into the season. Top 4, home ground finals and top 8 places to fight for means maybe 'The General' won't come to play as much as in the last few years.

Best of luck for the last few rounds and Go Hawks - hopefully playing Saints in the Granny!
