Comfortable win by the Swans, I'm guessing they played a tight defensive game to keep the Giants that low.

But honestly, will we ever be able to kick straight???

Sydney were never really going to go out and destroy 1st quarter. They're strategies are built around locking down better teams.

Unfortunate for Parker and Rohan, both were recieving blows from everywhere. Mcdonald should get 2-3 weeks though.

Also really disapointted at the umpires for the first 3 quarters, they were making wrong decsions to Sydney and GWS far too often.

Was really happy with Richards and Grundy's efforts though. Obviously, whether they had significant opposition is dubious but they did really well cleaning up the inside 50's, which kept the Giants waiting

I would call it a scrappy win. A few of the guys seemed a little rusty and made some simple mistakes.
Loved the games from Grundy, Richards, Kennedy, Jack all good signs for the upcoming season.

Fantasy wise, I got scared off Jack last week when he went down, I wanted to see a good game from him before he went in the side, too bad for me!! :(
Mummy, Goodes and Eski all performed well enough that I am happy with their selections.

Interesting that the tag was on Eski and not Kennedy, as he normally gets the tag. I think that old mac don ald may get off on a lighter sentence and be right to play next round though. Parker was looking good until he got the knock as well, Jetta got most of Parkers points in the later half
