Just looking at the range of debate from alot of intelligent people its clear that this kind of contact takes you into a cloudy unclear area. I alone have said great bump but could cop a week. Its such a grey area made so by the MRP and the AFL's willingness to rub out this kind of bump. I know i'll miss it when you never see it again, as a player you need to execute it perfectly to have no concerns come Monday that its becoming to risky use it.

Thats absolutely right Grazz. The game has been changing a lot in the last 5 years or so and players have to adapt.

To true. I also think a lot of younger blokes run around out there today not expecting a bump like that as you don't see them often then bang they cop one where as in days gone by everyone was aware it was on and played accordingly but they still happened.
I'm a big fan for protecting the head, i want to see the players have long carears and not suffer with their health after footy but there will always be head contact in a game as fast as ours.

Butt hurt fanboys will whinge at my comment, but the facts are the facts.....if McDonald played for west coast, he would be let off, no questions asked.

Tom, lynch got his sentence reduced after knocking murpheys head off with a viscious elbow.  he also hit him with his head over the ball in the same game.

nic nat did the same, head over the ball, massive "clumsy" excuses made till he got off.  waters same crap.

afl gets hard over them....criminals are even catching on.  rob a bank...wear a eagles guernsey, cop a reduced sentence

And to the people who dont think sports are fixed, im a massive nba fan. I watched the 2002 wcf finals lakers vs sacramento in disgust.  I swore i was watching a fixed series where the nba told its officials to rig it so the lakers would make the nba finals.

Sounds extreme?  Well the guy officiating it ADMITTED he and another official were approached by the nba commisioner to rig the series.

Justin Bieber

Goodes wasnt happy about it.

mailman  the official actually admitted it, mind you 6 years later after the lakers win the title.

any nba fan should check that series out, so many phantom calls down the stretch on the kings.  i knew i was watching bogus crap.

to say the afl wouldnt or doesnt influence either is being naive

I don't see your picture MM?

Who gives a crap?

There might of been an issue with tanking but the AFL isn't that bad.

Why/how the flower is this relavent to the Mcdonald bump?

Is there some kind of conspiracy? Did Sydney just put Parker in that exact spot so that Mcdonald would run into him, hoping that Mcdonald would get 2 weeks and lose some reputation?

Because that makes a whole lot more sense then what your saying
