I hope you're right. Does anyone know when the MRP meet to decide whether or not he will be suspended? will it be this week or will they wait until the completition of round 1?

Find out the charges this Monday time to appeal by Tuesday

Colliwobblers

wonder if he gets carry over points from when he last played?

at least mummy behaved himself, don't think he gave a shower enough to hurt anyone :)

Thanks mate, glad i don't have to wait for a whole week to find out

Ziplock

I thought it was a bit of a dodgy call. There were a couple of worse ones though, poor hampton kept copping behind the action shower, was really bad, cant believe the umpires didnt notice it lol.

Colliwobblers

i was impressed with how physical the GWS boys were off the ball actualy, i also liked the umpiring in letting the scraps go on before coming in and bouncing it. Think GWS gave as good as they got in the physical stuff given thier age.

In tipping I tipped margin at 74 it was 63 which I though was a strong effort with the players out they have. You must be pretty happy Zip?

nostradamus

one thing that might help him is that the umpire was only a few metres away and didnt pay a free kick, let alone report him

Ziplock

I was pretty happy with it, I personally tipped the margin to be like 60-65

so :P

elephants

I tipped the margin to be 63.5-64.5 so :P :P

Ziplock

so... weren't you wrong since the margin was 63? :P

the 2nd qtr was the only real time the giants weren't very competitive.

personally, if scully, setana and power had played, I think sydney would have been made to sweat.

I got asked on the train- so how many games do you think gws will actually take away?

to which I replied- depends... do we play port once or twice?

Those saying McDonald's bump was a fair one are waaaaay out of touch with what's going on in footy these days. It may be a fair bump in the bush leagues but not the AFL.

He hit him late and high. He'll go and I'll bare my bum outside the MCG if he doesn't.

Not biggie though, he was never meant to play every game.

fertalong

The hit was a little high, but still on the arm (no head contact). It might help his case that the umpire was right there when it happened and a free wasn't awarded as well as the fact that parker actually got up shortly after and continued playing.
However, as many of you have stated, the MRP is useless so who know what they will decide.

MGK1

Personal opinion is he's fine. The MRP won't start the year off with a controversial decision, it WAS in the play the ball was just past Parker. He may get a reprimand at best and working in his favour is that Parker played on after it. But yeah he did get subbed lol.

I think it just looks ugly because his head swings back, i'm pretty sure he hit his upper chest forcing his head backwards. But hey what would i know im just a doctor.

elephants

I stand by what I said earlier. Good bump.

Regardless of what you or I think, McDonald's going to get suspended.
