Ok so we all wanted Zorko at some point, maybe it's couch, or maybe magnet won't come up for round 1.

So if you have Kenneedy or Mac on your fwd or mid bench as an emergency with a ton to thier name will you pick a rook now that will miss round 1?

I have Bugg and McDonald benched :(.  Have to hope Clarke & Magner don't play but I think Clarke is all but guaranteed selection with the injuries.

maybe guthrie or clark or morris don't think ellis will miss. I got it right and started all the good ones and benched shiel and D smith

got it all right except for picking and starting coniglio that is  >:(  he will come good !

fwds and mids there are a few candidates for missing round 1 and worth having.

What about docherty he is supposed to be a gun but not sure how long he is out for he is def/mid

is there any news on zorko? might trade callinan for him, cop a zero and take kennedys score(fwd line). although i'd want some positive news on him playing by approx round 3

I have Zorko in my fwd line at the minute, would like to hear he will miss round 1 but play round 2 haha what are the chances.. Would like Kenedy's score as Bugg is on the bench to as emergency, like le said hope Morris misses. Making money either way happy bout that.

this is how you fall behind simple decisions that could have gone either way now everyone that benched bugg and or kennedy and started shiel and whoever else that doesnt score a ton fall behind 100 points right there just in two players.

The season is long at least you have those rooks so don't stress i got it right in DT but i hedged my bets and started shiel over kennedy in SC but i'll just cop it sweet and hope all the other teams that got that right get something else wrong that i get right accross the next games.

Unless you see a coach interviewed who says (for example) "zorko was almost ready but he needs another week and he will definately be in the team."

If I don't have that kind of assurance i'll be picking rooks only that are playing. Won't be the last time my bench outscores my field :)

what you dont want to do is, pick a rookie like zorko and he plays round 4-5 and you miss out on all that money making oppurtunities. Pick your best team dont go chasing scores. I have bugg on the bench as emergency and i hope morris gets named round 1 if he doesnt and another guy does i will trade out morris to the guy who is playing.

Zorko has recovered from his hip injury, just needs to regain some match fitness.

I'm thinking of swapping out C. Smith (who has very questionable JS) for Zorko so that i get McDonald's score and also get a rookie with better JS, he just might might a couple of rounds that's all.

thanks for the info lollipop man, but i have to agree with holz unless there is REAL confidence another rook such as zorko will play and be a gun round 2 or 3 at worst.

I wont be doing anything drastic. If Magner plays i hope he scores well, if he does not then i will get Kennedys 116. Magner is too good for me to trade out for one score.
