Not bad, only brough Mohr in when Darley not named. Goodes sad, but that's Goodes, plus only bloke to fit in my bye plan.
Mummy will lift against harder opposition and more stoppages. Giles did well enough for first game against the big man.
Brought Conig in as last resort as had the extra cash, and wanted someone with some JS. He better lift
Shiel, good enough for first game 33 in a half so can be a slow burner.

Had Hampton when originally made my team. Traded to Kennedy 2 weeks ago. Traded to Jeremy Cameron Friday :/

Having said that, not the worst result.

Would have been STOKED if Cameron was still Kennedy, even Hampton would have been good. It was a deliberate strategy of mine to name all the gws rooks I possibly could on the field (after checking sub ofcourse) so that I was guaranteed all those non-green vested scores. Players like Ellis, Hall etc could be sub and it would be shower having them start if that were the case. Also took the educated guess that Shiel would be subbed off barring any injury ;) surprised more people didn't think this.

Just did the normal mistake that cost me so many times last year...

Had Tomlinson in def and Bugg on bench
Had Shiel in mid and McDonald on bench

I just need to learn... at least it wont cost me this week with no games played. Thought Sheedy might get as many minutes into Shiels legs as possible

Remember this is only the first game of the first round, try and keep your heads and look at the bigger picture ???. GWS will rotate players and the stats will be up and down for all of their players as they are a young side with bodies that are not accustom to AFL play. We all will have players who have a bad round. I had Cameron and Smith in and I think this was a good start for rookies. You should be expecting Rookies to fluctuate in stats else they would be premium players. Your game plan should be to have rookies that performs well over a number of weeks.

I didn't have Cameron, but I had Kennedy on bench :S but had Bugg on the field :D

I used the Android app to make my final swap yesterday to trade out Coniglio for Lucas. For some reason the app decided that JMac (who was on the field) should be on the bench AND it removed my midfield emergency. Magnar better suit up or I cop a Round 1 donut!

App since removed.

I think that may have been the same app that allowed my workmates to look at everyone's teams during the game on the weekend. They actually had another league member matching up against them on head to head, and also could click on everyone's names and see there starting lineups.
