I'v really been noticing supercoach is just harder than dreamteam.

Yes. That's why most supercoachers play it. It's harder, requires more footy knowledge then dream team.

Mate I agree!

I also found that when I picked my dreamteam this year I seemed to have more money to splash around, managed an extra premium than my supercoach team did.

The Bomber

of course it is...why it is better

you have to consider effectiveness, pricing more stringent, the 3300 rule...

SC FTW

i always feel the difference is.... DT is Maths,, SC is Art   like em both..
and yes i too felt DT team seemed a stronger team with atleast 1 extra mid-pricer

The very fact that Stanton is a genuine option in DT and Judd isn't is an indication of how SC is better :P And that's from a Bombers supporter.

Sc takes into account REAL footy. Contested vs uncontested possesions and marks, effective vs innefective disposal, direct influence of players actions on the outcome of the game, SC rewards Quality as well as Quantity. It's both statistics and art. It's a truer representation of the game.

MUCH Better than DT

Danstar

SC is better. but SC is getting worse by charging people for everything and have poor servers to cater for how many users play it.

Just for the sake of balance, why not put the same question - or maybe DT is way harder than SC! Do you agree? - on the DT forum and compare the poll results.

Would be interesting.

yes, everyone is like "SC is better" etc.  .. well on the SC section that would be the standard response :)

Yeah this is really just dumb.

Post it somewhere where you won't just get fanboy answers.

Both DT and SC are seperate games. Just leave it at that. A pure Dter wil have just as much difficulty playing SC as a pure SCer playing DT.

Problem solved

Well said Mail Man,

my 2c

SC is no harder than DT and DT certainly is no harder than SC

SC is more involved in researching your players but NO HARDER to play, you just have to know who is an efficient user of the ball and who is likely to stand up at the right time and impact the result of the game. Whereas in DT you need to know only the stats accumulators.

Still in both you need to know who tackles, who gets easy FF who gives away FA and who had a good KH ratio.

Both games are dead similar to play once you pick your team you are in a similar situation of trading players and starting and benching the right ones. The difference is more in scoring than it is in "playing". And the difference in scoring really only affects the player research you need to do to have the right people in your sides

Actually playing the games of DT and SC pretty much exactly the same.

Knowlege required to play each - maybe slightly more required to play SC well.

Dal Santo             Ablett
Murphy                Rockliff

Pavlich                 Goodes
O'Keefe                 Fyfe
Roughead             Cloke

Looking at these teams, I'd rather have the SC team in real life, which is why SC players prefer SC over the stat dominated DT.
