Butler or Broughton any better? Thanks :)

Windigo

If I could see into the future and I see that Butler plays every game in 2012. He'd be straight in.

Broughton.

hmmm, thanks :)
Let me re-phrase the question, "Is Heppel the best option for under 417k?"
Is Broughton still better?

Heppell - Playing in the midfield.
Broughton - Playing in the midfield (until Barlow, Mundy, Morabito and Neale come back in).

Is Suban back? Could free up Broughton. But still, he looking the goods. Come what may I say.  8)

I like Broughton, but he can get you a 140 one week and a 55 the next.  I wanted to get him in like last year, but he almost gave me a heart attack at times last season, and I don't think my heart could handle another year of him, lol.  If he guns it up I'll jump on though. :P

Thanks guys! :)
Might keep Heppel I guess.. thanks again!

heppell - 2nd year player...
broughton - highest scoring NAB defender

broughton's locked and EASILY loaded!

Colliwobblers

i have heppell in DT - think he will get a lot of it in the midfield but may not use it at 100% efficiency not only a 2nd year player but a 1st year midfielder.

i have broughton in SC - uses the ball better on his good days and is the safer option, I have no doubt barlow and mundy will be back within the first 3 weeks likely from round 1 and morabito soon after, lyons may ignore morabito or vest him if broughton is going well he doesnt tend to bench stars to give young player a chance. So the chances of broughton playing predominately as a mid which he did in nab cup which is why he scored so well are very low in a full strength team.

both the best picks at that price anyone else is a midpriced slight risk, except the few which are very unpopular ala adcock ect.

broughton has a higher ceiling than heppell i think,, its more of a "how many games will he play" that worries me, but ive got broughton.. i'll take the ride and see :)

Heppell played through the middle in his junior days and was a bit of a ball magnet too.

Notorious P.I.G.

It's hard to see Heppell having a WORSE year than his debut year... he's put on weight, got the experience now and is getting a run in the middle so its almost a no risk option, he will average the same if not more and play every game.

Broughton could potentially average 100, however he could also be moved into a defensice role or not play all 22 games...

Depends on your risk attitude... you want to lock a guy in that you won't touch all year or ride the wave with Broughton and have a POD against most sides?

Personally I'd say Heppell, but I don't like rollercoasters ;)

geez im second guessing myself now,, reading this im thinking of calling in a last minute change  noooooooo ....
maybe i should take Heppell  in one comp and Broughts in the other

Football Factory

Duffman .. underpriced imo .. been around for a while now should get his average back up to where it was under new coach Lyon
