Providing the rest of my team is good, would 6 starting rookies be OK?

Huh? I've got 13 if you included giles, redden and stephenon in the ruck. A lot of people would be going guns and rookies... about half each. The rest would going 11-13 guns, 4-5 mid pricers and rest rookies, so 6 seems too few. Not enough cash cows to keep you competative in the sc finals

I think he means 6 starting on the field, im starting 7 on the field, but have 15 all up.

Don't see an issue with six starting rookies but combined with injury such as lake, prop and malceski is very risky.

yep i do have giles starting on the field and on top of that hmac is my other starting ruck(i call it the no premo ruck/one mid/one rookie srategy). big o and redden on the bench. at first glance it looks very dodgy. but i have faith in hmac and giles and all other lines are extremly strong.

i think hmac can average 80+ and giles 70+ and that is enough for me until its time to upgrade them. i will soon find out anyway. and as you said about your side im not afraid to burn some early trades if it goes to shower

as long as you have a little faith its ok.
but with that strategy you do have to set those players a minimum you want them to average. so then you have it set and you can consider trades if points go down the toilet..

yep well at worst i would want 60 a week from giles but wouldn't want much less than 80 from hmac. i am also thinking that redden may end up scoring well so if giles flops redden can go onto the field. as i said earlier though im pretty confident in 70 from giles and 80 from hmac. i'll reveal my entire side after next weeks full lockout and you can see what you think of my team as a whole.
