LAST MINUTE DECISION

How are you approaching the Byes?

Thanks.

roo boys!

Haven't given too much thought to the byes but have tried not to have too many players from any team in each line, as I would any other season.

i'll worry about it a couple of rnds out. atm trying not to pick too more than 2 prems from same bye week on the same line

This and trade rooks through the first 10 rounds taking structure into consideration where possible

did try to have 1 rookie per rd in each line, so come the bye rd i can trade them out respectively making the trades not pointless sideways trades come to byes, and making a 3 rd 12 and 4 rd 13 players in defence come rd 11, and 4 rd 12 and 3 rd 13 players. This is because there is better players in those line with respect to those rounds. Thats all im taking into account

I voted other as none really describe my strategy. I will be looking at bye structures as I trade.  Currently have a 11/7/12 structure (5 of the 11 are GWS) and will aim for 8/11/11 for round 11.  This structure will then get me 2 donuts though the bye rounds,  Have got the trading structure worked out and there is absolutely no way of avoiding at least 2 donuts during the bye rounds.

Only care about my "keepers" as far as the byes go.  I'm setting up with not many in the first bye week and then will trade in some of those players in the following two weeks...

The big one to me is Goddard, Deledio, Scotland....I haven't got Scotland for that reason and defence is consequently my weakest line with Broughton as my 3rd best.

Ive gone for a balance bye strategy except in the mids

Ive loaded up as best I can on Rnd13 Mid Fielders, logic being;

You have some stars in that group and you have 6 trades leading up to Rnd13 in the 2 weeks before

So you can bring in Rnd11 premiums after the first bye round and not worry about them (targeted upgrades) and either take a hit in R13 or trade out before its an issue
