Interesting - looks like Dell'Olio is in line for an upgrade then. Would make a nice forward line pick.

Hird said that he would probably get games this year, i think he may be a nice downgrade  later on

haha yeah I've tossed and turned between howard and taylor hunt all pre season.

mm i think this maric vs macintosh as a mid pricer ruck has been settled now and ill have to go big HMac haha.

Also, i think luke parker is pretty much locked in my side now :)

Well I don't know if Hird ever played DT, but if he knew anything about the game he wouldn't say Dell'Ollio unless he was going to play games early otherwise he's not really the best value pick. Especially not if he only plays a couple of games.

Perhaps he could be the Crameri of last year for the Bombers.

was there an enquiry to the coaches knowledge of DT?

id be way more inclined to adhere to these names if the coaches played DT :D

I would assume most of the coaches knew the general gist of DT, so i would still feel comfortable with any on these recommendations, but there was no real explanation on video

as if any afl coach has the time to play DT. not a chance.

i think they would be somewhat aware of their players scores though

Some of the team selections when naming emergencies , then late changes and especially the hawthorn debacle late last year just had to be dream team based. Not as players :o but to annoy us punters.
