i like the look of your team with some diff options like hogan McCarthy didak. keep an eye on couch and  smedths tho cause think they are still on rookie lists?? d smith could be a ground starter?

take out 2 of your preimum defenders like scotland, goddard and/or delidio then put in another preimum in the midfield, for your defence put lake in and pittard get anther ruckman like hale in your ruck and leave giles in reserve in your mid take out mcCarthy if you can try and get fyfe into your forward lineand not saw on porpyisa he might do well tho

have kept this quite but ill help you out. carlton have a truckload of back line injuries, and will be looking for players to help out down back. scotland is very good at reading the play and loves dropping into the hole, and ,may be forced to play back a bit, so be just be wary of picking him or players like carazzo to start with. TBH i can't justify spending almost 500k on a player who may have to shut down an opponent. other than that i really like your back line.

I'm looking to get swan after the bye, with collingwood hinting that he could be heading back to arizona midseason, i really don't want someone like swan sitting out for 2-3 rounds :\ when he does get back he will smash out a 125+ average like last year and thats when ill be jumping on. could possibly downgrade him to pendles or the like to save some cash.

not sure about hogan, wait for teams to come out, i think taylor hunt is ahead of him in the tagging role.

be wary of didak, has had an abductor injury most of the pre season and i have absolutely no idea how he is travelling at the moment. could be vested to start with, or could start slow. maybe upgrade him to a siddebottom/gray? plus if your going with someone like Porps in your fwd line, didak is a very big risk IMO.

JVoldt is an interesting pick. richmond look to have improved and with big vickery and miller helping him out in the fwd line won't get double teamed as much, but he is a gun could be in for a big year....or could do much of the same. has gunned it in the NAB not sure if richmond will keep up their form. Its a very risky pick but could pay off....i don't have the balls to pick him

maybe you could do a double trade in downgrading didak and upgrading volt?

Mccarthy good pod.
The mid field strength is a bit lean.
Iwouldnt start Scotland either. he will play shutdown early on while they have injuries plus he has off field issues with an assault case. turn him into broughton and use the cash elsewhere
