Shaw hasn't played a full season in his past 4 years and last year was his first season where he has averaged over 90. he wasn't very consistent either - is waters a better option?
maybe even Hanley/Broughton/Heppell?

I wouldn't call any of those other guys consistent either (jury is still out on Heppell obviously).

Shaw's been alright in the NAB, scoring around his last season average. Seems like as safe a pick as anyone else in that price range. Do you have Carrazzo in your side? If you are dead set against Heath then I'd suggest him or maybe Broughton.

I'd be picking Deledio, Suckling and Birchall all before Heater for consistency... as long as your comfortable putting up with the occasional 50, he could be a good POD

Many have him in their teams, even though hes on some 'Never Again' lists.
He actually is a gun and pulls out 100s every now and then.
I have shaw over birchall and suckling.
