What ruck option are you doing?

Yeah, just seeing what's more popular... I would have added 2 rooks, but lets be serious here haha

tossing up between starting two rookies and going a rookie and a prem, just working out if i go 2 rooks were to move the cash savings and decide if longer is worth the risk on the bench as a cash cow

IMO two rooks too risky!

What starting both Redden and Giles??

Giles looks like he will be good for a full season but jury is still out on the other Rookies... I couldnt go past the value of Kreuzer this year, 330 or whatever he is could be a steal.

To add to this, when Lobbe comes back, regardless of RedDogs form he will play.

yes it is very risky, if i start giles and redden with big o and longer on the bench i am hoping that rucks will give me 60-80 points per week each and with the cash i save i get two extra prems, one up fwd and one in the back, (Bichall + Martin)

Kruz is the other option, Kruz + Giles (redden, big o/longer)

hi price looks good and he is sure to up his average having a full pre season and will have most of the ruck responsibility with carltons injurys

Kreuzer looks like he is really starting to become that 4th midfielder in there who can ruck and his time up forward is very productive when they rest him... All indications injury free of course point to a great season.

Such a tricky part to get the formula right in the ruck, would much rather only need 1 and have an extra midfielder :)

given time i think there is a possibility of calrtons mds becoming like west coast back in the Judd,Kerr,Cousins + Cox era, with carltons Judd, Murphy, Gibbs + Kruz

Im going I.Maric plus 3 rookies. its risky but it gives me 5 premiums in forward and backline with 4 in the mids. Plus i'm not sure what to expect from the top rucks this year.

Cox may be rested at stages.
Goldstein has H.Mac back.
Sandilands is he fit?
Berger has Longer and Hudson.

I've gone with 1 prem/1 rook. My prem is Berger, and I can't believe people have been put off of him by Longer and Hudson. He was the first player I locked into my team.

Take a look at Berger's second half of the season last year. He killed it. Hudson's still on the rookie list and has been given the shaft by two clubs now (in favour of Maric and Minson, no less). Longer's a first year tall who'll be five years away from his best. We've known for ages that when Berger came good, he'd be one of the best, and yet people are trying to talk themselves out of picking him? Let it be on your heads...

1 mid pricer 3 rooks? :P

on a side note, fielding giles is looking totally viable now, considering the scores he just put up against mumford (esp. considering he took a head whack and needed to be taped up). Mumford would be what, a top 4, 5 ruck man in the comp?
