first round score

whats a fair first round score using the rems and rookies approach?

2200 looks about right to me.

yep 2200 is your sought of base score in SC, anything below that is bad. anything over 2300 is pretty good. Round one shouldnt be any different. When the season gets on you need to start looking at scoring 2300 on a very regular basis, with anything over 2400 being a pretty good score. highly ranked teams will score over 2500 quite alot usually.

2000 is a decent first up score if you have the right rooks...prems will come good and even out but with right rooks you can agressively trade and build up better scores quicker

That means 2100 is shower felsty!

My team was fairly standard and i am 7th in my league of 18 after rd 1 with a score of 2118.
Our league finished very high last year and was in the top 10 at some stage ...
The highest score in our league was 2234.

Based on that info I would say 2100 is about par ... 2200 is very good ... 2300+ is excellent.
I would expect the top 10 from round 1 to all be 2300-2450 ...

The guys with McDonald, Magner, Bugg and Kennedy on the ground (and perhaps Clay) will be the front runners.
Seems like most had at least some of these guys on the pine (3 out of 4 for me) so those people will be around 2100.

The winner probably went out on a lim and picked Ryder/Kruizer in the ruck and Stanton on the ball.  An Essendon supported no doubt!!  ;D
