Rucks: Set and forget
Forwards: Sound

Very sound over all just a slight doubt on some rookies being named 8/10

woofy

Thanks for the reply

Forgot to mention im going for league win!

Have locked in those gws rookies and will be keeping my eye on the other rookies for next week.

Hoping at least one of sidebottom/dangerfield become premiums and caddy/clarke to make quick money with better js than rookies who would probably wear the vest.

I'm still not sold on Clarke down back. And maybe another rookie in place of smedts as well. Otherwise a very good side , please find time to rate my team

updated my team.. i've gone the 1-3 strategy in the ruck. been in a dilemma with cloke vs dangerfield and opted to take a gamble with dangerfield leaving me $101,200 in the bank for future upgrades (cox+goodes my priority)

Hey mate. I think your team looks pretty awesome overall.
B- good solid choices. WOuld be especially happy with buggs performance
M- Really good again. Kennedy looks like an excellent pickup. Hopefully he can keep it up
R- Standard Combo for most teams.
F- I like it only worry is that pfeiffer may not get to much game time early or could be a candidate for the vest

Overall espcially considering your extra cash i would say9/10

if you get a chance can you have a look at my team. Im going with 8 rookie midfielders and premiums foward, back and upgraded rucks from my original 1-3 tactic. thanks mate

Very solid Team overall.

Personally just a little concern with Shaw at the moment as with Pies injury list for backs will he be forced into a different role effecting his SC scoring initially.

Another option but your choice you could upgrade Hall or Pfeiffer to Porplyza. My opinion is it is better to invest iin players making cash as a return on investment. Alternatively upgarde a back to Lake, Giolby or Hargrave.

If I took your advice ringo my team would look like this. Does it look stronger or weaker than the last team?

Backs: Round 13 bye problem already said so won't go over that. I would have only one of Golby and Lake but if your feeling risky its fine.
Midfield: Fine but will neale get games? Not sure about that. He could get a regular gig as a sub
Rucks: FIne
Forwards: Very Solid. Still not sold on porpoise though

Overall: 8.5

Could you rate mine if you get the chance at http://www.fanfooty.com.au/forum/index.php/topic,48487.msg649405.html#msg649405

We all will have problems with Round 13 bye so if this the only do nut in back line you will cop in Round 13 fine.  Just be wary if upgrading defence go for Prems with Round 12 or Round 13 bye.  Shaw would be ideal to get in then if price allows.

Only concern I have is with Neals and JS but if named then go for it.  Like all other rookies and do not be put off by one game.

I like this team and I think you have improved it.  Well done and a reasonable sum to assist with upgrades.  4th Mid prem should be your priority upgrade.

Hey all,

DEF: B. Goddard, B. Deledio, H. Shaw, G. Broughton, B. Lake, M. Clarke, B. Ellis (T. Bugg, J. Townsend)
MID: S. Pendlebury, G. Ablett jnr, M. Murphy, J. Selwood, J. Magner, K. Horsley (J. McDonald, D. Smith)
RUC: N. Naitanui, J. Giles (J. Redden, O. Stephenson)
FWD: L. Franklin, P. Chapman, D. Martin, S. Sidebottom, P. Dangerfield, J. Porplyzia, A. Treloar (J. Cameron, A. Hall)
CASH LEFT: $143,900
18 trades.

Wasn't going to trade but got info my top of the ladder league opponent just brought in a gun premium. It was going to be a close game but now think i may have to upgrade Bugg for a round 13 premium. Should I? If i do i'm thinking either Birchall or Suckling as i can't afford Scotland.

cheers for the help!

Hi all,

Was a very tough league match last weekend which pretty much came down to what i did with my trades. Had Murphy so had to choose between Dal Santo, Cotchin and Mitchell and pretty happy with Dal Santo considering i saved about $40k and he pumped out a 130. Now i was pretty set on Bugg to Scotland which would of made my team look better on paper but i decided to take a risk and not do the trade as i wanted Zorko in my side, plus Cameron had quite a high b/e. Even though Cameron beat his b/e i'm pretty happy with the trade as i won my league match by 6 points thanks to Cox having a bad game and Pavlich slowing right down after half time. Was on the edge of my seat as Nic Nac didn't do much in the last quarter whereas Cox junked up in the last quarter.

Anyhows for this weeks trade I think ill be doing the Bugg to Scotland trade but it only leaves me with about $100k in the bank. I am planning on future trades such as bringing in S Thompson for Magner for round 12 and JP Kennedy for JMac for round 13 but where am i going to get the money from? Darley and Sexton spring to mind as downgrade targets but who for? Townsend/Hall? Wouldn't be making much there. Ellis? still need him to cover byes.

What are your thoughts on what to do guys?

Thanks!

Jay

I wouldnt be opposed to a double downgrade? Hall & Bugg > Sexton & Darley

We are getting to the stage where downgrade targets are limkted and you need to take advantage of any decent ones when they come along...Hall > Sexton is optional as you arent making much money from it BUT hall could never play again this year, ya just dont know!

very true, although I think bugg to Scotland is a must this week as it finishes up my backline and also gets rid of a round 11 donut.

what do you think of downgrading d.smith for sexton instead of hall? still hoping hall will get at least 2 more games whereas d.smith will probably rise about $10k.

Hey all,

Been a tough few rounds with the byes with 3 straight losses. Planning didn't help and i blame my unlucky fixture in coming up against opponents who also planned for byes and got lucky with their players on game day. Anyhows here is my updated team. Any opinions on what i should do next?

Thinking Redden to Campbell then Ellis to Suckling. I'd like to bring in Carrazzo next week but i won't have enough cash downgrading Redden to Campbell.

Cheers for your help!
