Have had Cox all pre-season, as i didn't really expect Worsfold to change much from last year and would expect Cox to run around and rack it up as usual. however, with lecras and nicoski out, as well as lynch in doubt with no return date set and Kennedy suspected to be suffering the same foot injury as matthew egan, I'm worried cox will be the new FF for west coast for now. Really unsure of what do and it throw a spanner in the works. do you still start with him? Start a rookie/midprices and upgrade to him later?? or leave him out completely and bring in say someone like mumford or leuenbereger???

Thoughts??

Really depends on if you can put the money you'd be saving to good use. If not, you may as well go for Cox.

but if he does end up playing mostly forward, whats the point in spending 532k on someone who will most likely drop the average by about 10ppg??

If what you said is true, which I think almost all of them are rumours, then it would be natinui or Lycett that goes Forward, not Cox

Kennedy is fine, Darling is fine

No real dramas IMO. The only thing is Cox is running out of midfielders to tap the ball to

I know that the whole kennedy thing is mostly rumours, but has been stated that he has a foot condition (forgotten the name) and its not something to joke about, its a pretty seriou injury. Think lynch is close to returning soon if he doesn't play round 1. its just a touchy subject when your paying as much as you do for cox :\

I would say that cox would probably be more liekyl to go forward. they can get more ruck time into nicnat and he's able ro break through the pack himself. although nicnat does take some screamers, would say that cox is a better contested marker.

Big_Cox14

hold it :P

Nah, I would keep Cox. When he's not rucking NicNat will have ruck whilst Coxy is resting in the forward line.

should ease your mind a bit that he'll be back around round 1-2

Don't stress is the only advice I can give. Cox will be fine!

yeh i guess i will for now and see how the west coast team is laid out come round 1.

while we are on the topic of the weagles, there is something thats been playing on my mind. do you think koby stevens is likely to get full games now rather than be the sub. with lecras, nicoski and also master supposedly out, along with kerrs fragility, I'm thinking he may just slide into the 22, with weedon maybe being the sub more often than not.... really not sure though haha

Noz

Could be a major difference between contests on and off the supercoach field.
