What do people think of some of these players:

Christian Howard

Luke Parker

S Kerride

S Crameri

B Goddard (underperformed in NAB cup, considering his slow start to last year) would Scotland be better option?

S Burgoyne

*edit: Title is a bit misleading, i really meant some iffy players*

Just saying i wouldnt really count any of those as smokies except maybe parker and crameri (people know them but dont have balls to pick em)
Many have jumped on howard already, looks a decent option playing on wing.
Parker has been talked about but havent seen any teams with him.
Kerridge is on fringe of Crow's 22, not sure if he will get many games or if he'll  be sub.
Crameri is an interesting pick and POD, not actually sure, i was considering him last yr but he was on rookie list. Not sure how he'll score this year so unsure, but i wont be picking him.
Despite God's Nab and what you said, most people have goddard anyway (hes called god for a reason) and most go GOD over scotty whos getting old.

Really like the look of Howard and i think he's in the doggies best 22. His scoring could be hurt by Gilbee when he comes back into the side, however there is a midfield spot open due to no callan ward and i think he should start over dylan addison, who was in the doggies best 22 at various stages last year.

Luke Parker is a gun in the making, sydney have an easy draw and his NAB has been brilliant. take your pick out of him, mccarthy and caddy. should average 80-85

kerridge is a rookie to say the least, not a smookie. at this stage looks like he may get the vest so be wary. will still score well when he is on the pitch though.

Cant say much about Crameri. Talented player, but hasn't really been on my watch list this pre season so i can't really comment

Wouldn't say goddard is a smoke either, and i know this topic is a hot debate right now, but he is currently not in my side. looked extremely average this NAB, saints are going to have an interesting year plus a new coach. its too hard to say for such an expensive defender.

Burgoyne is a silky smooth player who skills are amazing, very underrated to be honest. however despite his talents, i think he will stuck on Hawthorns half back line forever, simply due to the quality go hawthorns midfield. If he ever went back to the midfield, he would tear up no doubt about, just like back in the old days at port where lade used to tap it straight down his throat and he would come bursting through the packs. sadly those days are over however and i think you can expect much of the same average from him this year.

What do people think of some of these players:

Christian Howard - not sure on job security but will be a star, set to replace gilbee as the #1 playmaker out of defence, easily outscored Hargrave and Lake in the game he played all of early in nabcup he had 67 to hargrave 57 in a shortened game.

Luke Parker - GUN no mid pricer is ever going to be highly recomended for your midfield given the best cashcow rooks are there and the highest scoring premiums but parker and mccarthy are the standouts if you go that way, parker has scored very well and got better every game he has played.

S Kerride - Job security my only concern first round pick i think should play just dont know when or how much lot of fit crows fighting for spots in a form team.

S Crameri - no comment, could boom or bust bombers will improve but yeah unsure on this one

B Goddard (underperformed in NAB cup, considering his slow start to last year) would Scotland be better option? - Scotland a great option Goddard a great option Goddard cheaper and slighly higher potential (not realised last season - slow start)

S Burgoyne  - not a fan but not a bad pick for a defender should get plenty of it as he usually does, just doesnt seem to accumulate elite numbers no matter how involved he is.

I pretty much completely agree with you, crameri is in my team but hasn't done much in nab cup, i have high hopes for him though

kerridge gets a game, then he is in my team he is also DPP

howard bit up and down nab cup either him or hargrave

goddard should be right, but perhaps people have repressed the memory of his early 2011 scores... still I reckon he should be good enough, hopefully he goes alright

luke parker is my big call, i think he will be one of the big one to break out this year
