Starting Adam Kennedy!!!

I have Adam Kennedy as my 7th Forward, the forward rookies are average this year (except big Devon), but question is what the title says, should I start Adam Kennedy? He's named on the back pocket so he may avoid the green vest, but considering I have 4 other GWS players as starters I am not sure if he should be another...

Anyone have him in their sides or in their starting line-up? Which rookie would be a better choice?

I think he is a pretty solid option, I have Smith, Kennedy, Hall and Couch.. although considering Cameron.. has Couch been upgraded yet?

MELBOURNE defender Neville Jetta will miss 12 to 16 weeks after having surgery on an injured ankle.

Jetta was injured in a VFL practice match between Casey Scorpions and Box Hill on Saturday March 10.

Melbourne football manager Josh Mahoney confirmed the luckless Jetta - who played just nine games in 2011 after suffering a broken hand in round 12 and having a post-season shoulder reconstruction - has been placed on the club's long-term injury list.

He is the third player on Melbourne's long-term injury list, joining ruckmen Max Gawn (knee) who is out for the season, and Jake Spencer, who is returning from a knee reconstruction he had at the start of 2011.

This means Melbourne has the opportunity to elevate three more rookies if it chooses to, in addition to James Magner, who was elevated as the club's nominated rookie ahead of the League's Tuesday deadline.

However, Mahoney said the Demons are in no rush to elevate any more rookies at this stage.

"Our timing for that is when we think it is appropriate, [when the rookies] are in serious AFL consideration," Mahoney said.

Meanwhile, Colin Sylvia continues to recuperate at home from a back injury he suffered on Friday night against Port Adelaide. He is making good progress and Melbourne is hopeful he will be well enough to return to the club in the next few days.

Mahoney said the talented midfielder is still expected to miss four to six weeks.

I have Kennedy as a starting mid with Devon as my only rookie forward starter.
Also starting Old McD with Shiel on he bench for this week.

Yeah same Craig, just not sure if all of these rooks can score. If I can 400 from 5 I would be stoked, but it's very doubtful.

I have 6 GWS rookies.  Not sure if I wil start them all, but if I do I'd be happy with 400 points from 6 (66 average).  400 from 5 (80 average) may be a bit optimistic.  You never know though!

I was going to say 300 from 6, but I think Giles and Shiel could pump out solid 80's.

not sure giles will be at is best against the hardest ruckman in the comp but starting him anyway.

I have to decide who to start out of DSmith and Kennedy, thinking Kennedy in the hope he stays in defence and gets more of it.

I'll have 6 GWS rooks round 1, but I'll only be starting 3.
