Looks like it'll be a draw. No way Australia can make 600+, then cheaply bowl the Windies out.

Cicjose

we could get 600+ but that would take about a day and a half

at least leaving 4 sessions to bowl them out for less than 150

can it be done? Yes
will it be done? Unlikely

PowerBug

Flat deck i guess too?? If not then Aussies suck :P

Great declaration by Australia and great work by The Hilf  8)

*I heard today that Shane Watson has been involved in 8 out of the last 20 top order run outs  :o
Is he that afraid of his hamstrings going twang that he can't set off for a quick single and would prefer his team mate taking the fall?

Best quote i have heard was by Kerry O'Keefe regarding Watson and his running between the wickets
"Lee Furlong will be a surprised inclusion into the test team to open the innings with Watto, as she if currently the only person who understands Watto's calling techniques and plus he would never run her out"

PowerBug

Aussies won, that is flowered up lol

About the match-fixing poll, just about every IPL is fixed ;) There is too much money involved to not fix it

McRooster

*Match fixing, yes it is a problem, but I can't believe it is part of the fabric in EVERY game, I simply refuse to believe it. Once I allow myself to worry about the duplicity of the result I will have lost the love for the game. The uncertainty of the contest is what makes cricket cricket on any given day. It's what makes us run to the nets to practice after being bowled for a goldie knowing next week you'll see the ball like a watermelon.
The challenge, the Bradd Hoggs of the game, the after match jubiliation, the comradeship.

The baggy green is not for hire, you earn it.

I say it puts a sour taste in some of the great comebacks in cricket. One that i remember from recently was Aus vs Pakistan @ SCG. Where Punter batted first on the stickiest wicket, then were 200 behind after the 1st innings. And teh rest is history, until we realise that it was fixed. :(
