How come no one rates porplyzia? Injury concerns? I thought he'd play a bit more in the midfield this year

Not much I can say about your premiums, all solid there (apart from Scotland who I think is a bit of a knob :D).

Giles should score as well as or even better than HMac, I know it seems wise to have some depth in the rucks but so many coaches are going with the 1 premium, 3 rookie ruck approach that you might as well go along with it. If things go bad at least you know there are a heap of people in the same boat. If you don't like Redden then maybe Longer or Jenkins might be options.

The money you free up can be put to use with a mid priced backman such as Hargrave, Lake or Golby. It will give you a bit more coverage that way because starting 3 rookies in the backline is a really risky move.

Brown doesn't appear to be in consideration for early games so Wilkes, Yagmoor, Townsend or Smedts might be possible replacements in that price range.

Greene is a bit of a leftfield choice. His job security might be a bit of an issue but the NAB has shown he's capable of putting in decent scores. It will be genius if it comes off for you.

Folau? Please don't. Just....don't. There are three other GWS players who would be much better choices in that position, just have a good look around.

very ordinary team. Looks like you have done very little research on rookies. Doubt you will ever be great with a rubbish team like that, your backs r very thin. Your forwards r reasonable. I doubt very much martin and steele will be top 10 forwards. Giles vs hmac will there be much difference, i dont think so, no redden but gone orren wtf, emphasising the lack of research. Porp is a good pick and so is waters. Hmac could become redden and then you can get a mid-pricer for one of the backs. The eleven premos i havent mentioned r all great picks and good keepers, but most sides r going to have at least 10 solids like that. You need to choose between steele and martiin and then go a boy broughton like player across the back.

Don't know much about Golby, who would be the better option? I can have Clarke +$100k in bank or else I'll have to downgrade HMac to Redden, play giles and have $411,300 to spend on the final backman?

Sorry mate, as in OP never been good at DT. Orren because Geel are super thin on ruckmen, was going to go Redden initially. Haven't seen any GWS games so far hence the lack of research but thanks for pointing out the obvious.

On your new side. Martin and Sidebottom will be in the top 10 forwards Jezz so keep them both in your forward line. I would consider downgrading Hmac to Redden tho and using the cash to strengthen your back line, as owen said.
Mate just wait til GWS announce their team and pick most your rooks from that if you haven't done much research
