Should have realised this ages ago. When choosing between GWS rookies and others,we'll be forced into picking the GWS ones even though we have someone else in mind because we'll only know GWS and Swans players available. For example if I'm tossing up between Bugg and Morris I'll have to take Bugg in case Morris isn't named. Then Morris gets named,Bugg does badly and it's too late to do anything about it. This is gonna cause some headaches.

not to mention i think there's a second partial lockout next week

Yeah but that ones easier to navigate since all the teams will be named before the second partial lockout. You then just have to hope they don't end up being named the emergency...

+1

That is correct.

First trades count after round 1 is complete (unless you transfer players who have already played).

Yes I know this. But my point is if you've already chosen GWS players over others you can't take the GWS players out. You can't make decisions based on who is available cause we'll only know GWS and Swan players.

BigBob

AND you need to put any gws rookie on the field too, in case the other rookies you have dont play this week.

i'll be naming each gws player as emergencies ie bugg in backs mcdonald in mids and smith in forwards if they perform ill make sure the player i put on the field wont play week one but going the other way if the gws players score poorly ill try my luck with other players really its 2 bites at the cherry

So potentially you'd be happy to start the season off with 3 non playing players in your 30? That's very risky!
