Masten Out - Stevens In?

The rumours have been confirmed by HS

Masten out for 4 weeks with fractured jaw

Koby Stevens expected to take his place

Could be a viable alternative to the GWS rookies for Rd 1?

Stevens could be perfect to throw on the field until Dylan Shiel gets on the park!

I still think that Masten would of recieved significant vest time during those games if he played

Stevens is at least twice as likely. Keep him in mind for the moment but I think there are better choices out there (Magner, Smith, Smith, Clifton, Miles, Shiel etc.)

Masten was my mid 5 and one to give me a point of difference on a lot of others...oh well...now I can get another rookie to complement my fab 4 - Ablett, Murphy, Rockliff and Selwood...will have another 200k to upgrade someone.

Edit: Have had a play...Rockliff out for Pendles & Martin out for Stevie J...with about 80k left. Oh and got McDonald back in so have 3 GWS rookies in mids now (D Smith and Shiel being others)
