rotations might be a couple.......... and the others will come through injury!!! i would love to know who u guys will be picking as rookies on the fiel from other teams then???? most teams wont be blooding a hell of a lot of yout early doors until injury plays a role!!

the likes of kerridge from adelaide wont feature early

port redden will play, pfeiffer will be the sub wingard wont get a game early or if so he will be a sub.

swans????

carlton????

hawks???

collingwood???

melb magner is the only one 100 percent to get games!!! couch looking at sub vest no doubt!!

lions not looking at playing any rooks first round!! and that brisbane a shower team!! (injury keeping 1 or 2 out)

freo?????

geelong?????? smedts u can have him i will pass!!

north????

ess?????

dogs. most seem to be clutching at straws and holding their ass cheeks tight that dickson or clay smith play!

saints????? not sold on ledger

eagles???? you can have sub man koby stevens and super spud weedon!!

im sure i missed a couple!!!

so people are going to pick the likes off the subs and spuds rather than picking gun gws rooks????

ps would love to hear who your gun rookies from other clubs are????? insert here>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

afl_freak2

pick a lack of GWS players and some rookies dont get named round 1 from other teams......... u will be having players like weedon stevens and adding high risk players on the bench to field a team!!! high risk = job security and sub vest!!! having a bench full of rookies playing as sub or being subbed wont do jack for your ^^^^$$$$$$$^^^^

owenbond007

I agree with you. Thats why im not going guns n rook. I got 12 rookies/cheaps. The forwards seem the hardest to pick. With eagles injury list building nicoski + le crae think Weedon chances of plenty of game time have increased. Read on a thread masten has gone down to so Stevens might get game time. Due to a similar theory as you im gunning at 6 gws maybe 5 unsure on miles JS. That leaves 6 spots to fill of which magner morris ellis stephenson redden weedon r in atm.

afl_freak2

can u really have morris and ellis in the same team??? i would say if that were the case lids or newman would have to go in the midfield perminant???

owenbond007

think lids will. pretty confident both will play. find out teams next week i suppose.

afl_freak2

hmmmmmm i would love it if both were picked!! but i cant hold my breath they both will be,im going darley, bugg and ellis in the backline and look to pick up morris a few weeks down the track if need be.

Don't get me wrong, just cause I think GWS will have a rotational policy, doesnt mean I wont pick GWS rookies. I have at the moment: D.Smith, A.Kennedy, D.Shiel, J.Giles and S.Coniglio.

Adelaide: Luke Brown (D/C) - has been recovering from injury in NAB, but he is highly praised by the Crows coach and expected to play very early in defence. I agree with you on Kerridge, I think he suits the sub very well.

Brisbane: -

Carlton: -

Collingwood: Marty Clarke - should play early on, although the sub vest looms.

Essendon: -

Fremantle: Lachie Neale, expected back at around Round 2-3.

Geelong: Simon Hogan, experienced player will play early on as a midfielder.
Cameron Guthrie, an ok chance to take a spot as a small back.
Billie Smedts, efficiency has been poor but he has gathered lots of ball off half back.

Gold Coast: Aaron Hall, very impressive in Nab and adds some maturaity, almost certain to play if fit I think.

GWS: As mentioned before a lot of options.

Hawthorn: Bouman, averaged very well for SC in Nab with a few 75+ games.

Melbourne: Magner, as you said is a very good rookie choice.

North Melbourne: Sam Gibson, has not been promoted so I would of said him but... And he looks as though when he will play it will be as a sub.

Port: Pfeiffer will IMO be playing a lot of games straight away for Port as a mature bodied player.
Wingard, after his performances in Nab I doubt he will be the one in the sub vest.

Richmond: Ellis and Morris, I can see both playing at the same time, from the start. Morris as a more defensive player, while Ellis as a half back attacking player.

Sydney: Tom Mitchell, when he gets over his injury he is a good chance to slot straight in, which could very well be in the opening rounds.

St.Kilda: Tom Ledger, after coming on as a sub for Lenny and being possibly the Saints best mid that game he has potentially locked himself in for a start in round 1. Why doubt him? His scoring has been good and he has looked good from the games i watched.

West Coast: Agree that Stevens will probably be the sub.

Western Bulldogs: Clay Smith has been talked up a lot by the coaches so he is still in with a very good chance for a spot in the middle, while Dickson had a great game last week which will definitely put him in contention but once again I can see him being the sub.

afl_freak2

yeah but having said all that the % on those players u named dont float my boat all that much!! to much unknown!! i will pick the best gws rookies..................... safer than 80 percent of the others u just named :)
