Hi,

Can anyone explain how the progressive lock out will work for emergencies.

for example: Could you select a GWS player from each line to be an emergency, then see what they score or if they are vested then if someone blitzes and rolls out a monster score then make your selections for next week to ensure that they get a run by having a player selected in your starting lineup who is not actually playing but may be a rnd 2 starter ie Shiel, Zeibel, Bock ( rnd 3). May allow for a great start and a bit of flexibility with some of those rookies who are on the cusp but not quite ready for rnd 1.

It depends if you want to compromise your starting team with some round 1 absentees for the sake of some good scoring emergencies.

You might struggle to get Shiel in after the lockout seeing as he plays for the Giants.

You could try it. Obviously the rookie with the E on him would need about 110 to justify such a risk. There's absolutely no chance of this happening so it's kinda a moot point.

Still not too sure how this will work?? :o

If you have darley and bugg in your defence for instance but do not make them emergency can you see how they go and then have all your other players in defense on the field if they get realy low scores or keep them on and put two others such as ellis etc onto the bench?

Seems like there is an advantage, especially with the mids and DPP such as Kennedy and D.Smith with seeing how they score and adjusting the on field team according to results. Will only reduce the flexibility in emergencies by this method. I assume that if you dont specify emergency on a GWS player then you cant have them take that after the lockout.

Hmmm....
