Who out of Giles and J. Redden would you start on the field for round 1? Keep in mind that Giles will be versing Mumford whereas Redden will be taking McEvoy.

If you knew anything about Supercoach, you wouldn't have either of these two in your team.

Look at Rowe from Carlton or the Big O at Geelong.  ::)

Surely you're having a laugh.

Being a Saints supporter, McEvoy really leaks hitouts to the opposite teams ruckman, especially to advantage (he more than makes up for it around the ground with massive marks and plenty of posessions, but that's another story) so Redden should score pretty well. Where as Mumford will be very tough to beat for a young and inexperienced ruck at stoppages.

Get on Redden IMO.

Giles is anything but young and inexperienced. He's 24 and a very reasonable ruckman.

Redden is still largely an unknown. I'd go with Giles

bkimm32

Inexperienced at AFL level and young for a ruck.

Same could be said about Redden but he comes up against one of the weakest number 1 'tap' ruckmen in the league. He should dominate McEvoy at the stoppages every time. Mumford has the potential to monster Cox and even Sandilands at stoppages.

Also the fact that GWS play Sydney, whilst St.Kilda travel to AAMI to play Port.

I'm not trying to claim that I ain't a nuffie, because I am, but I would think the majority of them distributed 3300 SC points would go towards the Swans, where as the Port v Saints game will be a far more balanced game.

But hey, whatever you think Mailman :)

Not sure if trolling or just plain stupid..

Thanks other guys haha, I think Redden will be the way to go!

Giles is more experienced. Get both.

TheMailman

Giles showed last year in Nab that he was able to score well against the Swans, despite having a shocking team that lost by 100+ points.

Redden is playing for Port and whether he'll be rucking completely on his own is not 100% certain.

Add to that Sydney love stoppages so there's plenty of oppurtunity for Giles to get some points.

I just feel more certain with Giles, he may have little experience at AFL level but he doesn't look like it
