I think you have a lot more upgrading to do before you worry about Goodes. Gaining points from upgrading players like Morris, Clarke, maybe Bugg, D.Smith will earn you plenty of points and by the time you finish doing that, Goodes will be back!
Yeah, i'll look to hold the trade for as long as possible, as i'm going for league wins.

I'm happy with Bugg and Clrake as 6 and 7 for now, neither are disappointing so i'll keep them. A forward UPGRADE from Hall or Devon will come before the goodes trade.

The Gate Crashers
Backs: Deledio , Goddard , Shaw , Heppell , Broughton , Clarke , Bugg << Morris , Tomlinson >>
Mids: Pendlebury , Boyd , J.Selwood , Ablett , Horsley , Coniglio << Shiel , C.Smith >>
Rucks: Roughead (HAW) , Giles << Redden , Stephensen >>
Fors: Franklin , DANGERMOUSE!! , Chapman , Martin , D.Smith , A.Hall , A.Treloar << Goodes , Couch >>

Cash: $246'800
Trades: 19
Rank: Going for leagues (Should make the 8 in all of them)

The Trades:
Rd 2: Blease  :-* >>> C.Smith
Rd 4: Mumford >>> Roughead
Rd 5: Kennedy >> Treloar
Rd 7: Ellis >> Heppell
Rd 7: Magner >> Horsley

The Backs:
lids and God have solid, Shaw has returned well while Heppell and Broughton are finding their feet. Bugg looks to have flattened out, but a 70 avg from here until byes is the least of my conerns. Marty Clarke is finding a way to score well. Morris is picking up while Tomlinson will be mentioned in more detail below.

The Mids:
Top 4: Superb, i don't care if Abletts missed, he's started extremely well. Magner was nice for some cash, thankfully i held onto Coniglio, Shiel is providing great cover at No. 7, while Clay Smith will be talked about more below.

The Rucks:
After Mumford going down, Jarryd Roughead has been a beast for me, scoring goals, getting the ball, but not doing much ruckwork which is why i bought him in originally, as when he's around the ball (like most players) he scores more. Doing very well though, almost out-scored Franklin in the last couple of games.

The Forwards:
Chapman has been great despite a quiet start to the year, he's scoring tons and that's what i care about. DANGERMOUSE!! has been tank, lol at Ziplock fro trading him, Franklin and Martin scoring well. Was so close to trading Marin after 3 rounds, glad i held on to him. D.Smith, A.Treloar, both are scoring fine getting me cash. Couch is doing nothing but is also priced at nothing, so no loss there. Goodes and Hall i'll explain later on.

The Trades:
So many left it's not funny, going for league wins so that's why i haven't traded guys like Shaw, Ablett and Goodes is still there.

The Goodes:
Out for 6 weeks, expected return: Rd 13 (Straight after Rd 12 bye) My plan is to take this guy one week at a time, becuase the longer i can go without trading him, the longer i will go wihtout trading him. As i explain below, i can get my desired result wihtout trading him this week, so i will hold again. Making it 4 weeks to his return date, so now it gets debatable as to whether i should trade him out at all, and by the time i answer that question it's 3 weeks to go, now there's no need to trade him. Problem solved.

The Equation for Rd 8:
IN: Zaharakis , Maric , Spurr
OUT: Tomlinson , C.Smith , A.Hall

By use of DPP i am able to trade out any two of the listed players, and trade in 2 of my above shortlist.

Hall >> Zaharakis
Hall >> Maric (Using Roughead DPP)

Tomlinson >> Spurr

C.Smith >> Spurr (Using Couch/Goodes DPP then Tomlinson DPP)
C.Smith >> Zaharakis (Using Couch/Goodes DPP)
C.Smith >> Maric (Using Couch/Goodes DPP and Roughead DPP)

Okay, so you probably get the picture now, i have the use of many DPP players to get the desired result, which is: Spurr IN and Zaharakis/Maric IN. Question is, who is more important and which two trades do i use to get there??

GoldDigger

Smith --> Spurr
Redden --> Maric

Anything but that last trade lol. Then i'll be benching either Roughead or Giles :o

Gotta get Roughie into the forwards.

I mean, Spurr & Maric in is best outcome, but need to do it so Giles ain't benched.

Redden will be lucky to get another game.

PowerBug

Just updated to see where by worst bye round was going to be, turns out i'm 10/10/10. :D Although my two trades are going to see me bring in 2 Rd12's for an 11 and 13 most probably. :-\ :P

Bugg isn't playing
I think that's his donut. Yes, his donut is a bug.

PowerBug

Capper

You got rid of Blease??? but he is playing this week

PowerBug

I hate this game. Didn't trade Shiel >> Zorko thinking that the trade will come in handy later in the year, lose to the top side in my school league by under 100 points. :(

C.Smith >> Zorko looks the goods this week, but nothing else.

Justin Bieber

Blease coming back in :P

PowerBug

He may come back into my side too ::)

Trading Clay Smith to Zorko this week, nothing else.
