Not alot of love for Fisher this year..

Has been a consistent scorer for a while and can rack 100 points most weeks..

Anyone considering him as a premiumm defender??

Marstar

No, people are passing him bye (pun intended) because of structure.

He's been in and out of my side and I currently rate him as one of the top 7 defenders for SC.

Just so hard to fit him in with the likes of Goddard, Deledio, Scotland and to a lesser extent Newman all sharing the same bye.

Lack of quality lock down defenders has put me off. Dawson's gone and Wilkes is struggling in his place. Gwilt is injured. They have Goddard and Gilbert to rebound. Should still be in top defenders by end of season, but I'm hoping for a price fall, then get him in when Gwilt is back and Wilkes has either sunk or swam.

As a saint fan i always hated Dawson, that said, its clear every team needs some kind of lock down full back who is a spud in SC.

I agree with the above comment i think Fisher may be a bit of a disappointment SC wise this year (I also have a gut Feel Big Mac may fall into the same category)

I would have thought that Blake gets the lock down role down back that Dawson had. If Wilkes and Blake are named you would think Fisher would have his regular role and the ability to bust out the tons. I have Fisher in my team right now but I am thinking of maye putting Burgoyne in instead.

There is one thing I have learnt from playing NFL fantasy football these last few years. Sometimes it is better to throw away one week with byes and put in the best available players. So if that means a 0 on the field for round 13 in my defence, it will make up for it in overall production from those players in other rounds.
