K.HUNT SERIOUSLY??

OK so there is some talk around that Karmichael Hunt will be getting some extended time in the midfield this season for GC and a few big names in football really think he will excel.. I have him in my team at the moment but everytime I see him there I think of how stupid I must be to think that he will average 70+.. Can I get some thoughts on if the forum thinks he will be a dreamteamer that we should put in our side?

Looking at his nab cup form, he will probably avg 50 at best. There are cheaper options who will get you more points. Not this year.

I think the experts are saying he will be a great player... when compared to K Hunt from 2011.

As a rugby great, the guy's over-riding instinct appears to be to use his hands. He just does not kick, so you are relying upon him tackling everything without an orange top whenever he is on the field. Not sure that's going to happen often enough to justify selection at $150k.

What I think will happen this year with Hunt is he will score similar to a rookie entering their first season - 50-60 avg.

However, he is priced a bit higher and there are better options around.

Not nearly as silly as it sounds.  Has good job security and will be playing in the midfield.  He scored around 40 points in the first half against Sydney last week.  Not too shabby for a guy priced under 150k.
