My team is 95% done, only position ive been changing to and from is my ruck.

Currently i have Cox / Kruezer and Giles / Redden on my bunch

Can somebody convince me to start Giles and use the money for Kruezer elsewhere.

Ive noticed plenty of teams starting Giles. Is this a big risk? Will it pay off?
How long is Brogan out for? Im tempted to do this but is it worth it?  :-\

Get HMac instead of Cox and you'll have the best of both worlds. 2 lower end premiums, with Giles as solid back up, and some extra cash to play with.

mate if your keen on a 1-1-2 ruck structure then go with your gut. the ruck setup is heavily divided this year. i think the fact brogan is out round 1 - makes it an easier decision for me. as well as redden stepping up and the big O we also have cover  :-X

it aint risky! giles will more than likely be the top scoring rookie this year, so get him on the pitch!! he has been building himself for this season for a while now.

mate we need kreuz playing ruck to get consistency, and mostly ruck. but it just doesn't look likely with warnock being a gun, hampson about and te lack of tall timber in carlton's forward line will result in kreuz missile playing CHF. yea he'll have a day out but his consistency in scoring will be crap playing forward. he looks awsome i can see why your torn! his 1st full preseason apparently as well.

personally, i think you either go top notch rucks and 2 rookies to crush other teams or the 3 rookie rucks and premo. i think the midpriced ruck with one premo is the least effective stratedgy this year. and i think its cox and mummy  will have some daylight between them and no. 3 ruck overall.

only set and forget ruck i'd go is mummy and cox, big dollars but if they kill it with a 130+ average early, you will have a dam good advantage (if the rest of your team is sound)

yep long post!! have i convinced you???!!!

Cox is my number one.  I'm toiling with the idea of either mummy or giles at #2.  I had mummy at #2, but Giles at #2 frees up cash for another premium elsewhere, so I have that atm, with redden and giles 3 and 4.

I agree with torress though that cox and mummy are clearly the 2 best.

I have the exact same problem! i am torn between meow meow suggestion and the three rookie solution or keep the cox kruz combo
it frees up 300 k to  bring in both porps and hargrave  as it isnt  enough cash for another prem! i think the biggest question is will porps and hargrave score enough extra points than rookies to justify the weaker ruck combo's. its doing my head in!

Thanks Torress! I understand your logic here, and it does make sense! I agree with the Cox/Mummy combo being the best, and im assuming most teams will have these two by Rd 13-14!

So your saying Kruezer isnt the number 1 ruckman this year? He has had a great pre-season and its evident that he will socre well.

My only concern with Giles is if he doesnt play well then what? As all of your money has been spent, what do you do then?

You have convinced me for now on this system  ;D
