I am thinking Dangerfield as i have gone two premium rucks in Cox and Mumford.
If he fails and Hale fires then i can always downgrade ...

Really do think Hale is going to smash it this year ... but am set on locking in Cox and Mumford in the ruck.

If i had gone with the 3 rookie ruck setup then Hale becomes a lock in the forward line as insurance.

hale wont kick ya 5 goals every week and when he dont hes gonna score 50!! danger by a mile!!

Why Dangerfield? Because he's playing midfield? Pretty sure the ruck is also midfield.

Go with Hale now that he'll be the number 1 ruck for a long time. He'll still drift forward and kick goals at times. The Hawks will be a top 2 team this year so they will take the majority of the points in most games.

been sold on danger for a while now. playing in the guts will bring consistency to his scoring. and 435k is a good buy. if he goes well enough will be locked into my forward line all year, or at worst late in season he'll be my rotating bench cover in the mids and forwards.

hale? man he is getting some attention now!!! its only due to the fact he is at hawthorn. i'm not saying anything about him, he really could be a good smokey. but i just cannot do it, how often in the last weeks do we make drastic changes! i think he is a bit of aspud personally but his role - ruck and pinch hitting forward is proven to be lucrative. but in proper seaon, when we have gunston, buddy, and roughy apparently might be back round 1. with all of them playing where is he left??? massive risk with picking hale IMO

Just on Hale, Coach has said they see Broc MaCauly(sorry about spelling) as Baileys replacement with Hale as backup. If Hale was cheaper and Gunston and Roughy weren't there I'd consider, but otherwise very risky.

Thanks guys .. I am going to lock in both in the forward line.
No risk ... no reward.

There are better options than hale in the forwards if you are going to pick him it should be as a mid priced ruck to upgrade to a prem once you have picked your target
