I will answer the main question already and tell you that i have decided on gia as my smoky and i am not changing it cos i like him over dangermouse the choke artist he is haha  8)

i'd be nervous about Miles considering he didn't get a game in the final NAB round.  McDonald is more of a sure thing in terms of playing time.

Defence; Is not having goddard going to hurt you? hasnt had the best NAB cup but he is a gun and id get him in your team. Also if waters comes off then your defence is looking pretty good

Mids: Stanton? Otherwise good choice of prems

Rucks: Good

Fwds: Not sure about Gia this year and steele hasnt convinced me so far. Id steer clear of tomlinson

overall good solid team that if risks pay off then will go pretty welll 7.5/10

Goddard is an upgrade target mate he hasnt done enough for me to justify putting him in there.
Stanton is the man and will kill it this year he played most of last season with an injury and still managed a 107 average.
Gia is having a very strong NAB and seems to be playing more mids this year.
