Wish my team started winning earlier in the season. Might have had a chance at making the 8.

Seoul has quietly won 3 in a row.... next week against the 5th placed Armadillos looks a season define match. Win, and Seoul could make the 4, lose, and top 8 is in question....
You'd be barracking hard for the crows this weekend oss, coz if Port manage to get up, fantasy points all round! I should get Boak back too. :)

True! It is the Pies v Blues match that worries me also. Need Gibbs and Yarran to perform, and Swan to have a terrific DT but terrible SC, and the Pies to win.... Threading the needle on that one!

Yeah that's just really unlucky os. I'm sure you'll fight your way in to the 8 though before seasons end ;)

Just making a suggestion on the use of percentage in this comp.

I know it is used in the AFL and SC, but it is useless in this comp. (And for SC for that matter.)

It would make sense to use it if we could affect the amount that the other team score, like in AFL, but as we can't, it makes more sense to use total points as the tiebreaker rather than percentage.

I know this wouldn't be changed now and I hope this isn't taken as a rant because my team is so far down the ladder (That's my fault. :P), but I don't think it makes sense.

Just my thoughts anyway.

Holz

With that close loss im getting the spoon. The only postive is in comes Whitfield and Jaeger Bomb next year. I posted one of if not my biggest score of the season and still couldn't win.

BIG CHANGE.

Noticed that the totals of scores for didn't add up to the totals of scores against. Which they should. This made me panic a little, and traced back the error to Beijing's scored against, referencing Cape Town's score for.

What does this mean? It means that Beijing's percentage is boosted up, moving them up to 7th and Moscow down to 8th. A very good thing to pick up.

(Noting I love the ladder spreadsheet Purple 77 created, and this is the only error I've found, good thing it was before the finals).

Everything adds up now!

Also means that I'm officially the team other teams like to score against :/

There was bound to be a mistake somewhere.

Still, one out of like a thousand isn't bad!

Seoul sure as hell deserve to make finals! Have been unlucky all year.

Cheers Maca.

I'd also like to point out that given the top 6 teams are currently AAP Alliance teams, that EurAsia did damn well to get as close as it did!
