God is an GUN and should be in everybody's teams. I think it's WAY to risky to not have him in since your going to end up trading him in anyway.  ;)

Totally disagree. There are a few guns and you cant have em all. Not having him is not really going to cost you because instead of god you might have a shaw or a lids or a suckers or a broughton. There isnt going to be a lot between each of these guys and could go either way. It would be a boring DT season if everybody just locks the same guys.

Goddard is a class above every other defender. Did you see his first 10 rounds last season? he still managed to average 95 even through that.

His price is about 15-20 points per game underpriced. There is absolutely NO reason not to pick him

Bit of a love in going on here!

As for the actual topic i'm not starting with Goddard as I think where he was at last year is basically his ceiling nowdays. If your picking him thinking he's 20 points worth of value I think your going to be disappointed. The Saints are going to win the games they did in the 08-10 period nor wil they dominate the pos count. Not saying he wont still score well but his days as the dominant defender are over.

I think Jimmy Bartell is a good example to line him up against. Jimmy is still a fantastic player, pretty close to my favourite but gradually is scores have declinded in line with his roll and the way the team plays. I'm still waiting for Jimmy to pick up that 20 points worth of value from last year!
