Help me with my 5th mid please :)

So my backline and forwards are already strong in my opinion and im playing coxy with giles in the ruck department.

My current mids are Boyd, Mitchell, S Thompson, Stanton,.........., Miles (Mcdonald,Magner)

PLease help me out and give a reason why.. Thanks yall :P

yep... This year there is alot of value in mid priced defenders.. So 3 prem def 2 mid priced def and 4 prem forwards with dangermouse also.

Stants was my second absolute lock after buddy. He is gunna kill it this year and be in the top 4 scorers IMO :)

I would consider putting in a DPP who can move to their other line after the byes.
This will help to plan your backs/forwards and allow you to pick up another premium mid later, maybe Swan after he's been to Arizona!

So i have gone with watson and my mids are currently Boyd, Mitchell, S Thompson, Stanton, Watson and Miles

I think thats pretty strong with boyd, mitchell and thompson the hubs of their teams respectivly and guaranteed 105+ seasons. Stanton in my opinion will push 115 this season and in the worst case senario watson will average 100. All definate keepers barring injuries.

So i have a new question. I have ousted cox and stepheson and banged mummy and kruezer in with giles r3 and redden r4. It this better?  ???

Only leaves one midfield spot for the season, what if Swan, Ablett, Pendles absolutely kill it this year!
I would obviously love to see the Bomber boys do well this year but you aren't leaving yourself much room to move in your midfield.
There are even guys like Rockliff, Selwood, DalSanto, anyone of them could go nuts.
Could cost you sideways trades or you will miss out on getting the BEST.

I see your reasoning mate but what if i have 5 of the best 7 their? saves making many trades and can focus on the backs and forwards? I think boyd will be the highest dreamteam scorer this year followed by pendles and stanton. I will have pendles in straight after the byes...

I think you have 2 of the top 7 in your team, your the first guy in a long time i have seen without ablett i think that could be a mistake if it were me i would bring in barlow or broughton (both should be playing in the freo midfield and should be the biggest improving team this year) than upgrade one of the other guys to ablett.

If you start with 5 premiums and ablett, swan pendles go 115-125 your mid might be looking pretty weak come round 13

Nah i have decided on a no ablett and swan midfield and then upgrade to whichever performs better. I want pendles in but think boyd is a better pick.. May well backfire but could be worth it come seasons end?
