GWS vs SYDNEY

hey guys please correct me if i'm wrong.Next week GWS plays SYDNEY so we will be picking GWS rookies selected to play.

The following week they have a bye which means that those rookies will be benched. [most will prolly have 2 on every line

bar the rucks. that means they will be benched and our other rooks will have to take the field. because of the 2nd lockout

we will be able to select the other rookies in our team that are selected to play in the 2nd part of rnd 1, but they will count

as trades huh. so we will have to pick all our rookies prior to the first lockout or we will be trying the Krispy Kremes

Incorrect. The only rookies you need to pick is the GWS/Sydney players. The rest you don't have to worry about until the second psrtial lockout which are the richmond/carlton players. Then you don't have to finalise your side until Friday Arvo.

eh the gws and sydney players, you dont change them at all after their lockout
its just two partial lockouts, one for gws syd and one for carl rich.

No, unlimited trades after partial lockout. you won't be able to make trades until the Monday after.

The way I interpret this is...

Up until Saturday we have unlimited trades of ALL players.

From Saturday night to Thursday night all players EXCEPT SYDNEY AND GWS players can be moved in and out of your team.

From Thursday night to Friday night all players EXCEPT SYDNEY AND GWS and CARLTON AND RICHMOND players can be moved in and out of your team.

From Friday to Sunday night we are in FULL LOCKOUT and no trades are able to be made. From Monday morning (when lockout concludes) ANY player can be traded from your team BUT they count in the 24 we are given.

I think I have this right...

yeah thanx man shoulda known after all these bloody years doin' dt. just got one of those brain fades like you do some

times when you go to the atm and can't remember your pin even if your life depended on it. thanx champ, i prolly

Sydney and GWS don't have a 'bye', they just play round 1 a week early. All of your Sydney and GWS players will be locked in place, but their scores will still count towards your round 1 total.

After the first match, you'll be able to make unlimited trades just like you can now, but Sydney and GWS players will be locked, so they can't be traded in or out, moved to the bench, made captain, etc.

The way I see it is the same, LE - with the added 'bonus' of being able to see PB's team and his secret mid-pricer while we still have unlimited trades...

In all seriouslness though, can anyone confirm this? Will we be able to view other coaches teams during the week before the Friday night game (Blues v Tigers)?

still a bye , they have a week off !!!! in all seriousness thanx guys, yeah just had a brain fade. i guess what i really wasn't too

sure about was wether or not the trades counted.

That's a tough one. Do you mean the coach you are verseing that week for say? I would say no, but don't get up me if I'm wrong.

No, I mean every single person who has a team! Will teams be viewable prior to the Friday night game in the second week of Round 1 or as soon as the ball is bounced on the Thursday before??!
