I actually have 100k left over so could convert to 12 premos and 6 midpricers. got 4 midpricers that range from 200-300K and 3 that range from 300-400K. Playing premos as 3 backs 4 mids 1 ruck and 3 forwards and i assure you they r all classed as premos. One isnt classed as one on the fanfooty planner but ill think you will agree that watson is a premo.

Giles is a midpricer or will score like a midpricer. Yeah I have enough money to get one more mid and I have conliogio at the moment who is a well above rookie scorer.

Of a starting team of 22 you have 14 prems and 8 rooks, i have 11 prems, 8 mids and 3 rooks. Money in the bank!!

Well you guys have got me thinking but I will be sticking with my 13/14 premiums and 2 midpricers.
If you say a premium will score 100 a midpricer will score 80 and a rookie will score 50 plus an extra 100 for the captain then it works out pretty close.
1400+ 80+350+100=1930 for Whatlez
1100+560+200+100=1960 for owenbond007
Of course these scores are very rough but it looks like swings and roundabouts to me and Whatlez and myself will hopefully need to use less trades to finish with our perfect team!

The more rookies you hae the greater the chance that you could potentially play short. There is nothing worst than having a rookie who plays r1 and only plays a couple games and then your left with a guy whos not a cash cow and you hang onto them in the hope they return and they never do. Then your forced to burn a trade. At least with the mid-pricers and there is a fair few juicy ones with excellent JS you know there not going to go missing, plus with one rookie you could potentially upgrade 2 mid-pricers to premo. Just some food for thought.

Ellis Morris bugg darley
(caddy) coniglio shiel magner
Giles redden orren
D. Smith couch Hampton/Cameron

Even if shiel isn't there for round 1 I'll stick with him, with the week off he should be right for round 2 and he may even end up a slight pod.

Maybe winner for round 1 but good luck with overall!
If you can pick 8 midpricers who all average 80 plus you are doing very very well!
Still think they will cost you trades to get the BEST players possible later.
A score of 50 per rookie is very conservative would expect higher(please!) and a bigger cash gain.
