Upgrade Targets, Who are they?

with my current bye structure, success revolves strongly around the fattening of cash cows and flow of fresh meat, along with the unforgivable upgrade targets.

Between rounds 11, 12 and 13 i will be downgrading and upgrading like a madman, but who will be the fresh batch of rookies out of the oven for me to chomp into and who will be the Guns that have had a sluggish start and dropped a few Gees ($$).

at the moment here are the players i don't have because i think they have a little bit of that cash to lose before they're ripe and am looking at long and hard as upgrade targets.

Defenders:

Goddard
Scotland
Suckling

Midfield

Pendles
Swan
Boyd
Murphy

Rucks

Big Cox

Forwards

Pav
Chappy
Buddy

These are the players that i'm hoping will drop in cash and be ready for the picking.
I currently have:
6 premium Backs
4 premium mids
1 premium ruck
5 premium forwards

What are your thoughts?

No, i'm going for more of a 2nd grade premium/uniques approach.
The more of those top grade premiums you have, the more rookies you have, i've decided that i'd go for the slightly cheaper premiums and have a full side of premiums quicker than everyone else because i'm starting with more premiums. sure my premiums will average maybe 5 or 10 less than the ultra premos but i will end up with them anyway, just that i will get them when they're cheaper.

Whoever looks like being seriously under-priced come cow culling time. Alternatively whoever is killing it and is in reach of a double trade.

You will be way off the pack, by the time you upgrade and also take account there will be injuries along the way, and if your mid priced players play crap and burn you cash, lets just hope you have some extra AWESOMNESS rookies that no one knows of so you can come back mate.

I have Broughton but not Heppell, and as i said before, they're not necessarily Ultra Premiums but they're not mid-pricers, They're

2nd grade premiums/uniques

imo you need to start either one of goddard or scotland in def
midfield atleast one of swan, penddles, boyd most teams have 2 or all 3
and forwards chappy is a good upgrade target but surely buddy is a lock

without most of those players your gonna be behind from the get go so best of luck to you

I would have expanded on this, but I was annotating advanced chem notes for uni lol.

Basically, goddard is chronically underpriced, you would only not start with him if you thought he was going to flop this year, in which case he wouldn't make a good upgrade target.

Every man to his own, i still think he has a bit to come down, going to be a very quiet year for the saints.

Goddard will have a slow start to the season and could heat up closer to the end, therefore a possible upgrade target, pretty simple stuff fellas.
