Melbourne to come bottom at $9.
Melbourne for spoon looks damn likely :-\
I put 10 on them when the odds were $21 ;)
What company are you using jukes? Sportsbet only has odds of $4.50 for a Melbourne spoon now...
[/quote]they are $6 at TAB,, but they havnt played GWS or GC yet.. its probably a bad bet, demons will win more games than both the 2 new teams

crabapples

the best market they'll offer is $1.02  :o

Early multi:

Coll win
Norf win
Syd win
Essendon win
@ $4.26

$50 free bet on Swan to win the Brownlow @ $11

Looks pretty safe, think Port could push North and the Cats do likewise to the Pies but they should work out.

Thoughts on my multi??

Port Adelaide to win or lose by less than 5 goals against North Melbourne at AAMI.
Hawthorn to win by at least 10 points against Fremantle at Launceston.
Sydney to win by at least 15 points against Melbourne as the SCG.
Blues vs Crows under 190 points in total (morning showers predecited and no Walker for the Crows)

Paying $4.43

Port are terrible and the Roos will be keen to play the football they know they are capable of. Risky
The Hawks struggled in tassie against Syd, and Lyon will be keen to play the same defensive style. Should be safe though.
Certainty.
The Blues can kick 20 goals on any given day. Risky

Port are quite bad, the fact its at AAMI should see some resistance from the Power and I reckon they can stay within 5 goals at home...
Hawks were poor but I reckon Freo aren't in the form that the Swans were in. Clarko was visibly horrified with his troops after that game. I reckon 10 points is safe.
For sure.
That's really just there as I'll be throwing one of these down later in the week when different games come out. I'll be talking to maidens who is pretty good at these :P

Cheers mate, reckon I'll be breaking up the multis too so I am as safe as possible ;D

PowerBug

Port are gonna win....

lol jks we're shower.

The quarter by quarter leads for Sydney and Brisbane look good at 1.40 and 1.80.

I think Collingwood will win by 3-4 goals. Dids is always worth a tenner in group B disposals if he's listed and at $5 or above. Cloke to dominate if Scarlett doesn't play.

North should cover the line. Petrie to kick a bag and claim the most goals.

I like Freo with the 28.5 head start. Johnson, McPharlin and Dawson should be able to stop Buddy. Mitchell most disposals.

41.5 is a pretty sizeable start for Melbourne. Sydney aren't know for smashing teams. Sydney's forward line lacks potency without Goodes. Tempted to take Melb at the line.

The Bulldogs vs GC is in Darwin where it can get humid and almost like playing in the wet. 33.5 is a generous start for GC and worth taking. The Dogs know they are coming back to Melb with a 6 day break to play Geelong so they might ease up in the last quarter if the game is in the bag. Gia will kick 4

Essendon will cover the 13.5 point line with ease against the Tiges, who are unable to play anything close to 4 quarters.

I like GWS with the points here. Unless Drummond decides to try, then it will be a 100+ point thrashing. Rockliff at the Gabba is a lock for most everything; DT points, possessions, SC points.

Carlton suck at Etihad but they'll still win. No idea about the margin. Murphy for most possessions.

St Kilda have won their last 5 games in WA. In good form. Got the run to take advantage of the big ground. Might be worth having a go at the line.

The 8 favourites rarely ever all win though, and with 9 games this year the odds of it happening are even more slim. Chances for an upset IMO are St Kilda, GWS and Freo.

Crack in.

Greene, Cameron and Wallis are his main threats. It's down to those 4 at this stage I'd say. The extra year might see Wallis be able to sustain his form for longer than the GWS boys. He's playing good football and has pushed Cross out of our midfield. Worth a look at $14.
Having said all that, Grimes will probably win it.
