Which of our boys will be DISCUSSED (not necessarily make) about All Aus?

For me, I think it we will have 7 players discussed, with a few with genuine chances. Can't remember the last time the Pies had so many players in contention

Presti
Maxwell
O'Brien
Swan
Davis
Didak
Pendlebury

The full back position had been discussed a lot and I reckon Lake or Scarlett might edge Presti out as they can also get a fair bit of the ball. But I wouldn't be surprised if Presti gets in. O'brien is no chance to get in the side.

Maxwell has really improved this year and he will most likely make the AA squad, whether he makes the team I'm not sure.

Swan will make the side, but Pendles might just miss out - he's just behind the likes of Ablett, Montagna, Swan, NDS, Goodes, Judd and M Murphy.

Would Davis make the side on the HFF or in the midfield? He would make it on the flank, but might miss in the midfield (similar to Pendles), Didak's form early on might make him miss the team, but his late form could get him over the line - 50/50.

Pies could end up having only 1 (Swan) AA player OR 5 (Swan, Pendles, Didak, Davis & Presti) AA players.

Well the squad is out and Presti, Maxwell, Didak, Pendles, Davis and Swan all made the squad. But Swan is in the forward category! Surely that's a mistake?

An absolute travesty that Swan is in the forward line. Doesn't make any sense. Swap Didak and Swan and its a good squad - always very unlucky players, but still.

A new year peeps.

Collingwood's All-Aus chances for this year?

O'Brien
Swan
Thomas
Didak

Anyone agree, disagree?

Justin Bieber

Pretty spot on there ossie. Pendles could be an outside chance depending on how the rest of his year goes.

Ossie I agree exactly with that last list except there is one fact you ommitted.

So the list of 4 you have, possibly 5 are locks. But you take the magic AFL formula applied to All Australian Teams and divide by 2 for any Collingwood player then subtract that number from what you have left = 0

Then provide these remaining spots to Geelong and St.Kilda. Voila!

Justin Bieber

That logic is flawless Cruis ;D.

What's wrong with that ???

Lol, is true. Still can't get over the 9 cats in the team from a while ago, and Clement being robbed one year.

Pies had 3 last year though Cruise - Maxwell, Swan and Davis - we can't really complain.

We can Ossie, remember the team of the century???

A powerhouse club including a side that won four flags in a row, and how many black & white representitives?

Jack Regan missing out for SOS was a crime. Gordon Coventry? Sigh.

We got the coach at least.

Master Q

Maxwell won't, Davis how? Swan will struggle as some Cats and Saints are in hot form, and I don't think Juddy will be left out ;)

Pointing out last year's, not this year!

Ablett, Judd, Swan, Montagna, Hayes and I still think Barlow's a chance, if not probably Dal again. My AA midfield.
