What do you think of then getting rid of Porps and replacing him with say a rook (Treloar etc) then upgrading Hargrave to Waters as D5?

yeah its a tough one i guess... i have Tomlison from GWS because  i reckon he will perform, hes just my little pickup, also Bruce or dpp devon smith into foward line.
yes its a real tough one and also whats Saad's Job Security like?

Thanks mate. Who would you suggest over Goodes? I would have 526,000 if I got rid of him...

Im sorry if theres heaps of writining but ive done it really detailed!
After much fiddling and undecidedness i think im almost done for lockout! but anyways!

Backs: Goddard, Carrazzo, Deledio, Birchall, Hargrave, Marty Clarke, Darley ( B.Ellis, Bugg)
i think my backs are extra strong, with having hargrave as 5 and marty as 6th. Marty was ovviosuly going to take a few NAB cub games to hit abit of form due to not playing football for so long. Birchall and carrots for me is a unique pick because they are ball magnets and generally rack up heaps of points. Darley, Ellis and Bugg are also 3 gun rookies!

Midfielders: Ablett, Rockliff, Selwood, Diasy Thomas, D Smith, Mcdonald (Miles, Stevens)
Alright well with many changes with having Lenny the whole time, but after yesterday i think it was time for a huged upgrade to Selwood, will just make my team stronger and stronger. Have decided to not start with Swanny this year because i believe he will go down in price and Ablett will soar again this year! Mcdonald (James) is unique for me but very risky so im not sure what i am going to do about him, maybe ill trade him before lockout. Any possible option??

Ruckmen: Cox, Giles ( Jenkins, Redden)
Obviously Cox is a gun and so will giles. I figure giles will average approx 70-75 so that is much better than having rookies from other positions on your field who will average 60-70. Redden and Jenkins should get considerable amount of games this year!

Fowards: Chapman, Franklin, Fyfe, Martin, Sidebottom, Tomilson, Bruce ( Kerridge, Couch)
Chappy risky i know, but thiss year will be no different to last year with 100+ average for sure. Obviously my other premiums are gun and will def backup performances or surely just get better. Tomilson isnt too bad and either is Bruce. Kerridge dont knwo much about but the hype is huge on him. Couch surely to get games for dees.

SO RATE FOR A RATE :) :) :) I AM THE SIDE TO BEAT, finished welll into top 1% last year.

liking the backline except for hargrave. not sure what it is about him but i dont like my team when i put him in it. When he was playing he just didnt look accountable and played on kids. Im going with my gut and not putting him in (having said that my backs are pretty unique.

mids alright, i always like having that second captain option ie ablett + pendles/boyd that can guarantee you that big score 120s (most of the time)

rucks doing well, you might have already done this but mummy doesnt share the same bye as giles.

forwards 10/10

overall id say 8-9/10

my team

def: goddard, shaw, deledio, broughton, hanley, waters, ellis (morris, bugg) not confident on any back rooks except for ellis so backs are pretty stacked.

mid: pendles, ablett, murphy, selwood, clifton, miles (magner, kerridge)

ruck: mummy, giles (redden, big o)

fwd: buddy, fyfe, martin, sidebottom, smith, cameron, hall (pfeiffer, couch)

bank $130k (thinking of upgrading either murph to boyd, shaw to scotland)

Re using your cash, if you upgrade Murph to Boyd you will gain 10 points (average wise
If you upgrade Swaw to Scotland, you won't gain much, you might even lose!
But if you upgrade someone like Clifton to the likes of Parker, Caddy, McCarthy, you might gain 30 points over many more games...

Think about it...

HawksFlyin

BACKS: Deledio, Shaw, Broughton, Birchall, Lake, Ellis, Darley, Morris, Spurr

MIDS: Swan, Ablett, Murphy, Thompson, Smith, Miles, Magner, Couch

RUCK: Cox, Giles, Redden, Stephenson

FORWARDS: Franklin, Chapman, Cloke, Fyfe, Martin, Pfeiffer, Hall, Kerridge, Cameron

Pretty happy with my team atm having DPP in my forwards and midfields. Gone different with Marc Murphy n Scotty Thompson this year, I originally had Boyd n Mitchell. Lakes my query in the backs. Rookies will change to match round 1 selection. Any advice or criticism welcome...

BIGCOLSYLVIA

you didnt rate my team!!!!!

but on the looks of your team, i like it but maybe still needs abit of a fix up.
Lake for me wont do anything this year, Wingard will get games but wont score well.
Dangerfield can only burn you so many times. pfieffer will be the jacobs of this year.
if you can fix up the team, than it might  be really good!

BIGCOLSYLVIA

i havent updated my team in ages!

Backs: Goddard, Carrazzo, Deledio,Broughton, Hargrave,Clarke, Bugg (Morris,Ellis)

Mids: Ablett,Rockliff,Selwood,Thomas, Shiel, Mcdonald (Kennedy,Magner)

Rucks: Mummy, Giles (redden, Stephenson)

Fowards: Chapman, Franklin, Fyfe, Martin, Sidebottom, Tomlinson, Smith ( Cameron, Couch)

Mids a strong 4, Thomas is too go up in price and avergae this year.
rucks, stock standard, mummy to tear it up tonight!.
fowards, very strong in my opinion. rookies will also do well there, so im quite happy

keep the ratings going till tonight, than i stop!

azza707

like the carrazzo pick. thinks he looks good in teams the do pick him, but i can't bring myself to pick him :( I'm guessing you understand that he could tag here and there but thats DT for you. Be wary of marty clarke, don't think he will play as many games as people think he will at the start of the season, still think he has to prove a bit more.

This is my opinion and as much as thomas is a gun, he is a nothing pick. he is full priced and will probe stay at the same average. IMO you want your 6 mids pushing a 110-115 average, maybe pick up someone like thompson or mitchell. or upgrade rockliff to boyd and bring in redden who will smash it this year.

i think mcdonald is risky and there is too many question marks over him and + he's 35...

not a fan of the 1/3 ruck structure, but at least you have cox :) can't believe how many people are writing him off.

not sure if you got rid of him or not, but put chappy back in your side. he's the exact same age as pavlich...and yet people are writing off chapppy as too old. wtf?? haha he will gun it this year. don't think kerridge will play at all early on despite how impressive he's been and couch hash been elevated yet, as i think you would know.

unique pick in bruce over kennedy, and could pay off.

wanna check my team out? I've posted it int he RMDT forum :) thanks and good luck :)
