very strong team mate, and i like the fact that it is unique with having players like thomas in your mids... chapman and clarke are  the only concern for me.. chapman is geting older, injury prone perhaps and clarke looks inconsistent.. all and all i reckon if u make good trade choices your looking at a top 1% again.. 9/10

backs: Goddard, delideo, birchall, broughton, lake, waters, b. ellis. (Bugg, Morris)

Mids: Pendlebury, Mitchell, thompson, murphy, l. parker, cliffton (Kerridge, Magner)

Rucks: Kruezer, Mcintosh. (Giles, Redden)

Forwards: Franklin, fyfe, sidebottom, waite, porps, d. smith, weedon (Dickson, Cameron)

please rate mine or give feedback, would be much appreciated

love it

Mate that's a great team, love your mids and forwards, but still unsure about kerridge with his js, but appart from that looks very solid. Also what are your thoughts of jenkins over big O?

Hey mate

Backs
Shaw, enright,Delidio, waters, malCeski, Lake, darley, Bugg, Ellis

Mids
Swan, Boyd, Mitchell, selwood, Green, Clifton reid, Hampton (waiting for teams to be announced )

Rucks
Mumford, hmac, Giles, redden

Forwards
Chapman, Franklin, fyfe, danger, porpLzia, D smith, J Bruce, a hall, Dickson (once again waiting on teams)

And rookies you think are must haves that I'm missing would be great to know about, also not concerned with having so many  gws rookies as I will be looking to cash in on them before round 11 to some of the current injured rookies

Thanks in advance

Nice team.
DEF: I'm not sure about Marty Clarke. I think he'll average 60-70 which will make you $. I wonder if a rook might be better here to make more $.
MID: Solid. No Boyd, Swan and Pendles but 4 good premo's who will average 110+.
RUC: Cox makes up for the 3 rooks (which everyone seems to be going with)
FWD: Very good. Strong. I'm liking Chappy - almost unique this year.

You have a really good base to work with.

My team -
DEF: B. Goddard, B.Delideo, G.Birchall, G.Broughton, R.Hargrave, B. Ellis, L.Spurr (T. Bugg, S.Morris)

yeah im not sure about kerridge either.. perhaps clay smith, but i havent seen him play as of yet. i just think in a developing team redden is more likely to be given more of a run, especially in different positions. if big o is not performing for even a week i would expect geelong to only go for the one ruck utility.

Backs: No Complaints really strong

Mids: Loving it love the pick of Daisy although i dont have him i know he'll score well this year

Rucks: 1 Premo 3 Rooks very good choices

Forwards: Stunning other then if you really wanted to could degrade chapman but he is a good pick and could easily be worth is price tag

Heres my Team Bro

Hey mate, Heppell unique but more on the risky side.
Great midfield as rucks.
goodes getting old as is chappy, but still good.
8/10 team

BIGCOLSYLVIA

@aceiiboy

Stock standard backline nothing risky, maybe hargrave to get in your team?
strong mids and rucks, Dylan shiel wont play round one and neither will James Magner.
Unique foward line with Stevie J but i think hes very expensive and is very probable to go down in price.
Porpy incredibly risky and not even unique just shower.
7.5/10

Nice backline, Lake shower though sorry :P
Unique mid.
Kruezer and Mcintosh terrible options and downgrade Kruezer and upgrade Mcintosh.
OK foward line, Waite horrible, weedon wont play and porps is an injured lost cause

No comment on backline, not a fan on Malceski. Waters unique i like that.
Mids arent anything special, green is old and wont score well.
nice rucks.
Doward line weak as porpy is your 5th.
Danger nice addition but maybe he could be your 5th foward... how much cash do you have?

Broughton more reliable option ? then heppell?

Honestly yes, ill elaborate.
Last year broughton wasnt in form to start with and then he hit form
Heppell is in his second year and isnt going to do any better than last year. but broughton will.
also works with byes really well having heppell over birchall.

Thorpy

Ok thanks i was considering him but i had heppell last year but ill go for broughton :)

Im sorry if theres heaps of writining but ive done it really detailed!
After much fiddling and undecidedness i think im almost done for lockout! but anyways!

Backs: Goddard, Carrazzo, Deledio, Birchall, Hargrave, Marty Clarke, Darley ( B.Ellis, Bugg)
i think my backs are extra strong, with having hargrave as 5 and marty as 6th. Marty was ovviosuly going to take a few NAB cub games to hit abit of form due to not playing football for so long. Birchall and carrots for me is a unique pick because they are ball magnets and generally rack up heaps of points. Darley, Ellis and Bugg are also 3 gun rookies!

Midfielders: Ablett, Rockliff, Selwood, Diasy Thomas, D Smith, Mcdonald (Miles, Stevens)
Alright well with many changes with having Lenny the whole time, but after yesterday i think it was time for a huged upgrade to Selwood, will just make my team stronger and stronger. Have decided to not start with Swanny this year because i believe he will go down in price and Ablett will soar again this year! Mcdonald (James) is unique for me but very risky so im not sure what i am going to do about him, maybe ill trade him before lockout. Any possible option??

Ruckmen: Cox, Giles ( Jenkins, Redden)
Obviously Cox is a gun and so will giles. I figure giles will average approx 70-75 so that is much better than having rookies from other positions on your field who will average 60-70. Redden and Jenkins should get considerable amount of games this year!

Fowards: Chapman, Franklin, Fyfe, Martin, Sidebottom, Tomilson, Bruce ( Kerridge, Couch)
Chappy risky i know, but thiss year will be no different to last year with 100+ average for sure. Obviously my other premiums are gun and will def backup performances or surely just get better. Tomilson isnt too bad and either is Bruce. Kerridge dont knwo much about but the hype is huge on him. Couch surely to get games for dees.

SO RATE FOR A RATE :) :) :) I AM THE SIDE TO BEAT, finished welll into top 1% last year.

Defence: Solid, no issue.
Midfield: Good, haven't seen thomas in many teams but will perform.
Ruck: I like your 3 prem to 1 rookie style but would go other than jenkins, I am a crows supporter and at the moment there are too many players in contention for a spot in the team, there is already mckernon, tippo and jacobs all can ruck.
Forward: Downgrade chapman, quality player but better options. Kerridge looks good but again can't say he will get too many games all depends on injuries.

Please help with decisions...

Set up:

Backs: H. Scotland, B. Goddard, B. Delidio, G. Birchall, R. Hargrave, M. Clarke, B. Ellis, (T. Bugg, P. Yagmoor (Undecided?))

Midfield: S. Pendlebury (C), G. Ablett (VC), J. Selwood, R. Sloane, C. Wingard or D.Pfeiffer, D. Tyson, (D. Shiel, J. McDonald (Undecided))

Rucks: S. Jacobs, J. Redden, (J. Giles, O. Stephenson)

Forwards: L. Franklin, N. Fyfe (For his price?), D. Zaharakis or D. Martin, S. Sidebottom, P. Dangerfield, J. Porplyzia, D. Smith, (S. Kerridge (Better options?), S. Byrnes or G. Weedon)

Cash Left: $43,200

Thanks for the feedback

What do you think of then getting rid of Porps and replacing him with say a rook (Treloar etc) then upgrading Hargrave to Waters as D5?

BIGCOLSYLVIA

@ lachie

Yeah your team is obviously really solid all round. Fair enough to be undecided but i am pretty confident on James Mcdonald,
give him a go! Get porpy out and change gerrick weedon for maybe Josh Bruce
