Melbourne seem to do well every preseason and suck me in thinking that they'll finish top 9-10 this year

They have the ability to win against every other team but Collingwood, Hawks, Geelong IMO

Hope your just talking about the NAB there, coz other than that we've had a great summer of training, best since, oh i dont know, the 2008 pre season, with a certain someone being the new coach then.......

You cannot judge a team by their pre season. Carlton won the NAB cup the same year they got the wooden spoon one time. Last weeks results had:
Geelong getting smashed by richmond............?
GWS winning?!?!?!?
Port Adelaide winnning against Freo................?
Adelaide smashing collingwood?!?!
Brisbane smashing carlton?!?! Yet carlton are still in top 4 calculations without one win in pre season? Melb have two more than them and are written off!

All these results just wouldn't happen in the same week in the real season, let alone at all.

Melbourne have also had a complete make over in pretty much every aspect of the club (says heaps about bailey), you can't expect them to perform immediately while their still learning how to play under mark neeld

I'll be the first to admit that im very dissapointed with melb's nab cup, but you simply can't judge a team from their pre season.

I never listen to bad pre-season form, i jusrt say they aren't trying if they are expected to do better. But good pre-season form, i'm listening all the way.
