was hoping he would at least pull a 65 to give me confidence in a 3 rookie ruck divison, but based of tonights game im thinking of dropping redden or stephenson and bringing in a real ruck

I'm going to ignore tonight's performance.  Alot of good players underachieving atm (suckling, Redden, Fyfe, Pav) (but alot of people overachiving aswell Franklin, Gray etc).

Hopefully it will mean fresh legs for round one - a strategic move.... hopefully.

Redden could be the leap of faith I need to go the 1 premo/3 rookie ruck stategy this season... but at $104k and with a poor showing tonight, it seems like a HUGE risk, and I don't have confidence that either 3 can average above 70 for the first half of the season, which you'd really need to start 1 of them... Great to think you'll get $80-150k price rise from all 3 rookie rucks (namely Giles, Big O and Redden), but how long will it take for the peak price to be hit, and how many trades used to capitalise on the price gains..?

Fyfe, for someone coming off surgury, is having a great pre-season. I wasn't going to consider him until I was amazed to see him playing in the NAB Cup and performing. Not sure how he is currently underachieving, unless you're expecting a considerable scoring improvement on his stellar 2011..?

I think he must have posted that at half time when fyfe was on 28 but he bossed it up to 113 by the end of the game further cementing himself in my side.

Fyfe didn't underachieve and I'm pretty sure franklin's performance was expected? you don't get voted #1 player preseason for nothing :) 108 is certainly within franklin's range week in week out. his price tag nearly justifies that!
