birchall, gram, hargrave, adcock, myers, jws, raines (m brown, petterd
gibbs, boak, reilly, haze, cotch, masten (rich, steeeeele)
petrie, jamar (vick, currie)
dele, nate brown, pav, lucas, higgins, ballantyne, yarran (rusling, gumbleton (for now))

what you think. i know rusling and gumby in the same team is stupid, but they are cheaper than the rookies im playing and are surely much closer to best 22 bar fitness/inj than some other rookies out there. is my mid bench too stacked as most will play rich in their 6?

Not confident ryz.

a litttle light on established stars

presume you have some csah left?

ryz.

you are correct. i have alot left over. but any guys in there that are questionable?

the dud

a good team but i rekon u should use that extra cash on ur backline

ryz.

yeah see my plan is, the first four in my backline, being birch, gram, hargrave and adcock i want to keep a hold of all season, bring in the best 3 defenders i can mid seasonish and get rid of whoever suits at that stage.

same with my mids, haze, cotch/masten or both and brent reilly will most likely all go for prems.

jamar is the one i was really wanting to see if i copped stick about. he'll play, he has to, but his dt worth isnt convincing.... he'll obviously go for one of the big boys.

forward line i think needed most work with keepers obvious there, and ill bring in about 3-5 guns or whoever i can afford. hopefully without using any 2 for one trades.

this leaves me with say around 8 (allowing 3-4 for injuries or doubles if needed) trades and a fairly solid team, assuming my boys actually make some money and dont ricky dyson or nicoski me.

still got a large list of guys im intrested in that arent in yet, but this side is based more on rep and 'potential' than anything else. obviously NAB will help alot.

does it seem a little less ridiculous or should i still be pumping more green in somewhere

I like your forward line; nice balance I reckon.

I'd get at least one super star in the centre.  Someone like Swan, Judd or Scott Thompson would fit in nicely.

ryz.

yeah i was thining of leaving out haze perhaps and just spending the extra on a gun who will most likely avg almost 40ppg more. but trav boak is going to be a jet, look a the kids guns. hes a winner already hahaha

1977

I would definatley include at least one more gun player who can be a reliable captain. Other than pav theres nobody who is proven over the journey. Look at a bartel, swan etc...

ryz.

yeah, pav and dele were my captain options. as to bringing in a star, assuming a midfielder to give the c every week if pavs playing sydney or something else happens etc. who would you kick out.

i love boak, gibbs is cheap and after last year should only improve. reilly and haze are both iffy for mine, but would like to have them in the side just in case they turn out to be the nick stevens of 09, cotch and masten i think are only going to get better, and increase in price who will probably be my first 2 trades out when they've gained a bit to bring in jets and i cant bail on rich. im changing my team up at the mo as the posi changes have happened

ok, made some changes, and i have a couple of guys in my initial 'pre NAB' team. guys in brackets are who im choosing from...

birch, gram, adcock, jws, raines, petterd + 3 from [ *cornes, mcphee, hargrave, *myers, *davenport, mitch brown]

gibbs, boak, cotchin, rich, + 4 from [ *NVB,  *griffen, swallow, haze, *reilly, masten, *swift]

petrie, currie + 2 ruckmen [looking at sandilands, *jamar, *jroughead, vick]

dele, ngb, pav, + 6 from [*lucas, *steeeeele, *gumby, *higgins, *yarran, ballantyne, *barlow]

anyones opinions, ive *starred the team i have picked at the moment

leaves me with just over 100k and a guru of 1665
