I'm secretly amazed that Scott Selwood has not got a mention, regarding his preseason form, and the style of football he plays.

Now everybody rates Redden for his tackling ability which is gold for DT, but everyone forgets that he was topped by scooter, who had the highest average of tackles per game with 8.1 (32.4 DT). Was one of the select few of eagles players that played all 25 games, including finals.

Finished off 2011 with an average of 87.1 and a sd of 14 (consistent), he jumped an additional 17 ppg from the previous season.

Currently has a scaled 118 points average in the NAB according to Fantasy Freako, and in NAB 3 scored a personal best of 120 in which was shortened match because of heat.

Currently is priced at $431,000 and may be a lil pricey for a midpricer, but is oozing potential of a premium breakout year, all he needs to do is find a couple more disposals per game and he is there.

I may be ambitious but i can see him pumping out an average of 105

Does he normally play as the tagger for them? If so well that explains the NAB scores with the lack of accountability throughout. Just look at Carrazzo for example

You have ruined my smokey lol. I think S.Selwood and S.Hurn will be DT guns this season.

Hurn has never done as well in DT as he has in SC.  Can't see that it will be any different this year.

yes he does, though that doesn't mean the tagger cant go and find the ball himself. The point I'm trying to make is that he scores 100+ scores with 20 disposals. And as its coming to his 5th year he should quiet easily find a lil bit more of the pill, lets say around 23 disposals, which will dramatically boost his scores.

A fine example that a tagger can score well is Kornes where in 06 and 07 he completely dominated, and i can expect something very similar from scott selwood

Ziplock

mcdonald used to play tagger, and average over 90 ppg :P

Isn't Scott Selwood the No. 1 tagger??

The Eagles have three shutdown players.

Adam Selwood usually gets the opposition's best forward.

Patrick McGinnity plays the annoying, get in your face shutdown role in the midfield.

And, Scott Selwood is usually matched up against one of the opposition's best midfielders.
