Basically, me and a mate were discussing brisbane's forward line.

jk, you don't have one worth talking about.

what we were discussing, was who may move to the forward line, so you don't suck so hard :P

I won't actually say who was arguing what, but it boiling down to one of us arguing
Leuen(r) + Hudson(f)

or

Hudson(r) + Leuen(f)

basically is leuen as a ruck and hudson as a forward more valuable than hudson rucking and leuen forward, or is it the other way around?

Discuss.

unless you have another genuine forward target who isn't injured.

Binga

Zippy!!

Leunberger as ruck, Hudson as rotating bench/ruck/forward.  Big bad Daniel Merret! Put him full forward isay!

Lol I liked your last question. What about Billy Longer?

Ziplock

I wouldn't think he was developed enough as either a ruck or forward. Sub candidate this year- ala gorringe circa 2011 :P

unfortunately victorious, I can't comment on that without giving away my position :P

Ringo

You did not post the obvious option after last weekend. Merret in the forward line. (Kicked 3.2 took 3 marks and provided contest in forward line).   Do not forget he started his AFL as a key forward booting 13 goals in 15 matches in his initial AFL season. Would not be surprised to see him line up there till Brownie is back given none of Cornelius, Lisle or Retzlaff grabbed the opportunity given them.
With both Maguire and Patful showing reasonable form down back Rog was given the opportunity to go forward.
Clay Beams also showed a bit on Saturday as well with 16 touches and 2 goals. Know Carlton played S*** but promising signs.

Sydney and Carlton proved that you don't need a huge star forward line to do well ladder wise so I doubt Brisbane would be too concerned.

Just let the young forwards develop into hopefully something special. Hudson may be able to help in the forward line

Ringo

With Hudson again not named this week - Does this mean we may be going in with Longer and Berger for Round 1. Giving us a forward line of Merret, Karnezis with Longer and Berger rotating. Not outstanding but very serviceable.

how's hudson been playing? if his forms been solid, he may be getting rested...

He didn't get a run last game... was a sub and sat on the bench. Like I've said, he will probs play a lot in the State comp this year...

Ringo

Longer has shown more forward than Hudson in the NAB cup to date and as such probably has the nod over Hudson at the moment.

pothead

Longer Ruck, Leuenberger Forward and Hudson can come off the bench and fill in for both while they are off
