So, how does it look?

Forgot to mention.. I have a very specific team selection plan to cope with the byes. I am one of the few pragmatic people who believes a donut is almost inevitable unless you sacrifice quality.
My plan was to minimize donuts.

DEF: Good defense, not many will have Carrazzo and he should do well. I think you could get better rookies than Guthrie and Brennan.

MID: Good midfield as well, Hayes is unique and could pay off big time, Thomas is also another one that not many will have.

RUCK: I wouldn't be going with Hmac, Goldy will take points away from him. A rookie like the Big O may even average close to Hmac.

FWD: Not keen on Robbo this season maybe next, i would steer clear of Folau, he may have good skills but you have to know where to go to get the ball. The only hope he has is if Sheeds keeps telling the team to kick it to him, but in saying that i still wouldn't get him.

Overall 8/10 good team just fix up some little kinks like Folau

Strong defense. I've recently been scared off of Broughton considering he will likely get less midfield time than he has in the NAB cup following returns of Mundy and Barlow. Carrazzo is a good "unique" (he's unique enough this season).

Midfielders are ridiculous! But it does come at the expense of your ruck. I wouldn't personally advise starting with 5 premos.
You could get a mid-pricer like Caddy who will make you money and then leaves upgrade options open. Here you've left yourself without many options should one of the premos fail to perform as well as you hope.

Forwards, any reason for Beams? I think Sidey will do just as well at a much better price.

I'm not looking much at mid pricers. It's either cream of the crop or a rookie, hargrave being my only exception.
If you have a look, I have 14 premiums. That's equal to and in many cases more than most people. I know that mids are the body of scoring, so why not lock over a ton every week right from the go?
I chose beams because his scoring is more proven than sidebum. However I have a few upgrade spots and will watch sidey very closely!
Loads of people have chosen the 1 prem and 3 rookies for ruck. I'm going to sit with that for the moment and ideally before round 11 comes round I'll be able to upgrade to cox or leue depending on who the best/second best ruck is.

Pretty solid team here mate.

Not sure if having 5 premiums is wise, leaves your FWD's susceptible.....As in your FWD rookies. Don't count on Smedts suiting up round one. But of a risk with Beams. No games this pre-season, will be unique that's all I'll say on him.

Quality team, you obviously have your own strategies.  ;)

Very nice midfield, strong backs, good ruck formation, but the only fault imo is the lack of super forwards, but those mids will make up for that.
