had swan and scotland for ages but seeing as swan will more than likely disappear to the US mid year again i figure pendles is more likely to play every game so am trying to fit him in without losing alot in other areas

Swannie isn't going anywhere. All he is doing is talking about retirement, going on holidays, saying Pendles is better. Trying to convince everyone that he's not interested, past his best. People are buying it. Then BAM, brownlow number 2, SC average of 140.

+1. The only reason he was sent to Arizona mid year last season was to help fix up the injury niggles he was carrying (& were affecting his perfromances). Does anyone honestly think that if he's fully fit & firing the Pies are going to turn around to him i June/July and say: "Well Swanny you look like you could use a little holiday, off you go!" Rubbish! If he's flying on the field, he's not flying to the States! If he gets injured, he gets injured - but he's no more likely to do so than any other player (& less likely than a hell of a lot of others!!)

Also, Pendles is $700,000. I keep saying this, but it will be nigh on impossible for to never drop below the $700,000 mark all season - not even the great G.Ablett Jnr. could! He's the type of player to get when he drops in price. Also, Scotland a better player in a better team than Newman. Therefore, I'd go Swan/Scotland.
