According to Sportal, Max Bailey - Hawthorn's uber-fragile number 1 ruck - has been booked in for wrist surgery. The club is not putting a date on his return but the article suggests three months on the sidelines.

Does this make Hale or even Roughy a juicier prospect for anyone? Or perhaps the Honeypots may go with one of their rookie-priced ruckmen instead? ???

Yeah I heard it on SEN

Hale / Roughy & Pattinson are Ruck / forwards (#2 ruckmen)....not #1 ruckman.

Unsure on McCauley's role, but would say Lowden would come in
